Early Flowering

What would cause early flowering in my femanised photoperiod plants?

I live in the southern Hemisphere, and we have just passed the summer solstice and one of my plants is well into the flowering already.

The rest of the same strain are all still vegging as expected.

Anyone have some ideas on what would cause early flowering?

Strain - Dinamed CBD plus Growing outdoors in pots.

Only been vegging for about 3 months and already mid flowering.. (id expect this from an autoflower not a feminised photoperiod)

are you sure it's not preflower? You will see pistils at branch nodes once they are mature enough (but still not flowering), that's normal.

Are you sure it's not an auto?

Typically a photo won't start to flower until 3 to 4 weeks after solstice

Well thats what im wondering now, i did top it so not sure if an Auto would have survived a topping and continued to this size?

Ive grown Autos before and they were all much smaller than this. This was sold as Dinamed CBD plus, which is a feminized photoperiod..
But first time growing it. The other plants are all still vegging as normal.. I dont like surprises like this :)

Auto's can grow big, I would consider yours as average size.

No worries, as you will be able to harvest that one much sooner than the others, which are likely photos.

I prefer auto's for sunshine grows here in Canada, as our fall/winters can start setting in before idea harvest time.

Here's a pic of auto's grown indoors with sunshine

Wow you grew those purely with indoor sun? Impressive. Mine are outside just brought it in for the photo. so is it possible for dinafem to have accidentally given me an auto? If it’san auto then surely is a different strain, in which case i have no idea what it is. Could be something i don’t want (i don’t want thc)

It's likely is a different strain, no doubt sent accidentally and is likely THC but you never know, it's a crap shoot

Damn i hope not :( Im terrified to test it, i do not enjoy THC at all...
Is it possible for a photoperiod to get confused? We did have a lot of cloudy cold rainy weather on and off during its first month or 2 of vegging. By the way i have found out from emails etc, it germinated on the 8th October, and started showing signs of flowering 2 months later. Definitely more of an Auto time frame...

Maybe ask a friend to test it for you, or have it professionally tested for THC % content

I just can't see a photo getting "confused"....it's in their DNA
