Once you dial them in you shouldn't have to do anything. The plants might drink more but the blumats should keep up. If you keep turning them up you could potentially end up with runaways. The coco doesn't have to be soaking wet if that's what you're trying to achieve by turning them up. The top inch or 2 can look dry but the lower root zone area will be at a perfect moisture content.

Ya I keep stuffing my fingers in there it seems moist no doubt but some were not getting as wet and the bottom seemed dry so I dialed it up a half or 1/4 turn and am actively monitoring them. On vaca now so I have some time to spend on them. Since I've planted I haven't hand watered once and everything's still looking great so it's def doing what it's supposed to

Without looking at what's going on in person I can't provide any useful input as to your adjustments. I always followed something about drips per minute and adjusted from there. You may very well need to be turning them up.
If you get a good grow you'll be sold on them. Coco is great but daily hand watering and dealing with runoff is a chore many of us don't want to deal with.

To be more accurate, when the plants were little and started thriving I had to increase the flow a bit, but I didn't have to adjust them after flipping to flower and turning my lights all the way up. I actually dialed a few back a little.
I still find it crazy how little water the medium needs for the plant to be healthy. Some of my pots looks almost bone dry, but the plants are doing great. I could probably dial back the slightly wetter ones, but they look fine as well and I don't want to rock the boat.

It's totally what's turned me away from coco. I've never ran it before but I've always been interested. I was taught using promix I learned using promix so promix is what I use. But every grow I'm just a cunts hair away from going coco

It is very interesting to see how little water they actually use compared to what I was hand watering in. Min 10-15 gals every 2-3 days in 7 gal pots vs filling res with 15gal and still have ~7gal in res at end of week

No doubt. For a few cycles I was running flood to drain in two 3x3 and three 2x2 trays, I was going through around 30 gallons a day, not including my veg room's res. Now 15 gallons lasts me 3-4 days. Plus I started using tap so there's no RO grey water to slough off anymore.

Yea they're pretty sweet. I'm just having an issue in res never used these nutes in a hydroponic ish setup and they seem to be clouding up the water fast despite efforts including using UV sterilizer. I dont want to run with bleach or h202 as I have alot of 'bio mass' in the soil. Plants don't seem to mind but I might have to switch to maxigrow/bloom

Just be careful doing that as I read a couple people say after awhile the pressure built-up behind the knot and popped, they might not have been gravity fed though.....can't remember.

So my first impressions are good. Haven't hand watered since transplant and pretty much every pot is still getting good water. Just fine tuned a couple that I think I may have set a little bit on the drier side when setting them up. I think I was just trying to be cautious and not get a runaway but now I see that's not really an issue unless you fuck something up to begin with

2 315s and 4 150w smds
After getting a par meter I really noticed where the hot spots and cold spots for lights are so I filled it in with smds. Now I'm getting 650-750 par in every reading even in corners with the lights up that high. All smd's are running 45-50% atm and my temps are 77-82max
I want every bud like the buds directly under the cmh

Man I'm bored now....nothing to do. These fuckers do it for me. I'm really liking these things so far. Saves me a ton of time to do things like dabs and smoke more joints...there's also the bong and volcano. Lol. Seriously tho. What a time (and back) saver. Even the finicky 'braincake' is loving life most of the time and generally she's a moody bitch. Hates any little thing wrong. Plants really growing quick with the even amount of water going in.
