I don’t like when stems are a mile high with no way to add soil. Personally would put these in solo cups only 3/4 filled up. May get second opinion

Yep, that's a K-cup. Cut a secondary drain hole in the bottom and BOOM perfect starter pod.

Don't most folks use those for clones?These will make your life a little easier and slide out of the tray. As soon as the seedling pops up I transplant into 1gal pots; that way you do not risk damaging or drying out the tap root.
