GHOST PEPPERS

They have a Red Primotalli in stock at Pepper Joes. It looks like it's a pretty fast pepper to harvest listed at 90+ days. Some peppers are listed at 175 days and that's just too long for me.
same. I'm going to be running a tester indoors in my flower room and I wanted something that would be ready by spring so I could decide if I want to run a couple more outside when the season starts.

I just realized that my ghost peppers are 150 days or 130 I forget plus the 30 days it could possibly take to germinate...maybe I need to get a faster variety

I found some Golden primotallis seeds for $4 jus saying...

don't remember what I paid for them from Jimmy Pickels, but I buy all my superhots from him because he grows all his seed plants in isolation so there is no cross pollination with other pepper varieties. that means when I grow his seeds I am %100 guaranteed to get what I paid for and the seeds from my peppers will breed true assuming I keep the isolated as well.

I've been looking around Jimmy Pickles website. Great selection of peppers. He's got some good landraces. I have my eye on the Aji Lemon Drop. It's not a super hot but looks like something I could use for culinary purposes. Same thing with the El Oro De Ecuador which looks like a good candidate for pickling. The no heat Feher Ozon Paprika looks decent as well and is a Hungarian heirloom.

Damn. Why did I look at that website. I have stuff in a cart and my card out deciding if I should buy some seeds.

The lady vetoed the Jerk Chicken. Or so she thought. I'll do half my way and the other half the way she wants.

That looks like it's goin to be delicious...both sides too!

What did ur ol lady do for her side?
Of course both sides. I'm going to put it in the smoker for an hour or 2 and then finish it in the oven. I don't feel like messing with the grill and a hot oven after the smoker turns out great.

The lady didn't do anything for her side. She doesn't cook. I made a spice blend with garlic and onion powder, cumin, celery seed, black pepper, kosher salt, thyme, basil, oregano, paprika, and mild chili powder all blended in a spice grinder. We decided years ago after we first met and she made Pad Thai which was just rice noodles and a ketchup hoisin sauce and I followed it up with the real deal made with fresh tamarinds, fish sauce, crushed peanuts, egg, tofu, etc... that I was going to be the cook and she's 100% happy with it. She might make a box of Kraft mac and cheese occasionally but I don't eat any. She's very happy letting me cook.

I did come from a foodie background as my father had several restaurants while I was growing up and was exposed to cooking at a very early age.
