It’s horrible isn’t it. Watching someone you love committing slow suicide. I’m so sorry you are going through this. Many of us feel your pain, not that it helps.

I really don't know what I am anymore about all that. I see death very differently than a lot of other people.

You need to chain him to a radiator and slap the shit out of him, starve out his addiction then send him to a rehab. Thats what I would do. I know so many peopel that have od'd. I'm probably a broken record, nothing else you can do.

Flashback to the 1920s using treatment like that. You might be able to torture the physical addiction out of a junkie doing that but will only further traumatize him so the first thing he'll do when he gets free is search out another fix to mask the pain.

Please never have children. There are enough screwed up kids in the world already.

I'd rather chain his dealer to a radiator.... Then we could speak more about the dealers future...... without distractions.

Most of the people in my area that are addicted were from Drs over prescribing pain killers… docs are to blame first here… then dealers who further it. Starting with pills then snorting then eventually shooting. Yup! So dealers here are filling the vacuum left by Drs.

My son didn't live with me unfortunately, so he got to raid his Uncles meds.... Who was on Oxycontin... The rest is history. If only you knew me, I'm one of those people that don't even take aspirin.

I only smoke weed and I deal with pain, I am one of the last people who would take pain meds for anything or pills of any sort. When I have a cold, I eat good, drink lots of fluids and juice, try to stay as natural as possible.

I am actually not afraid of getting addicted, but, am afraid of what those drugs do to my body and health over all.

A reall kicker there I forgot too... His Uncle on the Oxy, and his wife.... both dead from fentanyl.

It's suspected that he owed money to the local biker club for gambling or drugs. They took him out. His wife really loved him and we suspect that she OD'd on purpose.

100% correct. The user isn't going to stop, until the user wants to stop. Period. Rehabs, treatment,n.a., jail..... none of it means shit, if the user doesn't want to stop using.

Same here with me! Don’t take aspirin or others unless I NEED it. Maybe a tums or two for heartburn after spicy food. Actually told by a Doc that I am allergic to Opiates and Opioids when I severed a tendon in my finger. They gave me Percocet and first day was ok but second day I was itching EVERYWHERE! Even my eyeballs felt itchy. Called them up and they said allergic and if I took more I could go into cardiac arrest. So no more of them for me! I quit soda and most sugars as well.

I'm not a doctor or pharmacist, but from what I've been lead to believe, opiates are the best painkillers. Some better than others. I can't take opiates because of past addiction, so far I've been lucky and not needed any real pain killing, but I dread the day, if it comes, that I do need it.
