If you had to estimate, how many weeks would you say ?trics should be orange/red and receeding into the bracts they are growing from, bracts should be nice and swollen
I find that very hard to believe, at that point ur harvest window has long time passed. For a 8/9 week strain giving 15/16weeks it's just comical. Usualy if you go from the pistils is when around 70/80% have curled and darken, and for the trics you don't want to see only amber heads because that means that thc already break in to cbn wich will lower the overall potency of your buds.Any amber trichs on that plants is from damage. You have at least 6 weeks to go. Maybe even more. Let the plants pistils go 98-100% dark orange. After that. Wait 10-14 days. Then your window is ready.
If your harvesting with white pistils and only diluted trichomes. Not only do you have a shit Load of learning to do. But you’ve come to the wrong forum looking for harvest opinions.I find that very hard to believe, at that point ur harvest window has long time passed. Amber trics could be from dmg but my gorilla blue is closer to the lights and yet has 0% amber, so i'm guessin it's not dmg.
70 days it's ok, i'm not saying i will take them out as they are now obv not ready, the point is 6 or more weeks they be way past their prime. I want 5% to 10% amber in my ladies because that's how i like them, everyone has his tastes and opinions. Now 6 plus weeks makes 100+ days flower for a indica wich is absurd, and again, i could take them when all pistils are brown but i ain't much a person of a couch lock and if u look under microscope will have more amber trics then cloudy and i like them the other way around. If your harvesting with white pistils and only diluted trichomes. Your THC to CBN breakdown is just the very beginning of the process when heads begin to amber. It’s not said and down in 12 hours. Lmfao. White pistils come from an immature calyx. So if your harvesting with 70% orange/darkened pistils. More than a quarter of your plant is still not finished.
And if your plant takes 15-16 weeks. Then so be it. Your not the plant. Who cares what the breeder RECOMMENDS lol. 90% of every strain iv seen finishes in no less than 70 days.
even with a 54-64 day rec.
Idk what this 6 weeks 100 days is. Last I checked 6 weeks was 42 days.70 days it's ok, i'm not saying i will take them out as they are now obv not ready, the point is 6 or more weeks they be way past their prime. Nope, this is week 7 and at least 2 weeks to go on the strawberry. 6+ weeks i'll be already curing and tasting them. I went for pistils in the past but since i do it by microscope i never did the same and never regreated. Max potency is what i go for.Idk what this 6 weeks 100 days is. Last I checked 6 weeks was 42 days.
Your saying that plant you posted is at 8 weeks flower right now?
Why not ? After all this is a weed forum, should i ask how dumb people born instead ?Lmfao. Then why did you ask if you already knew?
sorry to hear that.
Lmao. OkWhy not ? After all this is a weed forum, should i ask how dumb people born instead ?
Looking them at microscope it's the best and most precise way that you can take them out how you want. Some sativas keep throwing 2 or 3 waves of pistils before all dark out even tho they are ready before that or if lights too close they can start foxtailing and creating new pistils.
Aparently, theres a few members on here that like over ripe buds and assume theres only one way to do things. What they dont realize,is that not everybody likes that. Not only that, but it increases your chances of having moldy buds.Unless you have a very controlled environment, you will get mold going that long.Any amber trichs on that plants is from damage.
