Okay, I posted in another thread about getting a 6" air cooled hood.
Here's the post if anyone can help me choose an appropriate hood/reflector (I accidentally posted in indoor growing rather than here in room design.

Anyway, I did some searches and came up with too many hits to get an answer to the following:
For a 600W with 6" ducting, what size axial fan do I need? Remember, this is for the hood ONLY, not the room exhaust which will be attached to 4" carbon filtration.
I saw those duct boosting fans at Home Depot for about $20 and they say they are rated at 250CFM. Also, am I supposed to push fresh air through the lamp or pull it through? Is one more efficient that another?
