Which LED would you recommend for 5x5 tent?

I've been thinking of upgrading lately, and with all these sales and deals going on, what better time to do it than now! Just for the record, I only have experience with one brand, HLG, and that's all I know as of now. With that being said, as from what I've seen in regards to a 5x5 area they currently have 3 models that fit the bill. If anyone has any experience with either within a tent, could you please chime in.

I don't even know if it's even worth it being that it can't be ran on full power without Co2

I’m running 2 350R and it’s damn near overkill. I looked at the scorpion Diablo, but in the end, I decided to grab the 2 350R and then add a 3rd down the road. Te 3 would give me much better coverage and more height versatility.

With that said, I’ve done well with a a combo of Mars Hydro - FC3000, TSW2000, and a TS1000 or 2, as needed.

Yeah I haven't been looking at anything over 650 watts. Even that in my 4x4 I'll have to dim it down because of not using co2 . Happy hunting!

I love all my HLG lights, but I really want a ChilLed next. I've been tempted to buy one a few times already even though I don't need more, lol.

I've been seeing others recommend two smaller boards, but I figured, shit, with that type of light in a 5x5 tent one would easily cover the whole space. Nice setup by the way.

Nice lights but dang expensive. Again without CO2 seems like it would be overkill. That said underpowered LEDs last longer!

ChilLed (GrowCraft) is one of the top lights out. And built here in the US. I also like HLG of course and Timber.

But I really like the bar light design they have and the potential with the lights. You can add or remove bars as you want. Also the 1000 watt could be used in a 4x4, 5x5, or whatever, considering you have 1000 watts to work with. Of course you'd turn it down in a 4x4, but I really like the flexibility.

To be honest I would rather have 2 X3's in 500 watts vs 1 1000 watter, but that's another couple hundred or so. But 2 vs 1 gives even more flexibility if you know what I mean. I could put 2 in my 3.5x8 closet or in a 5x5.

I run a 5x8 table, a 3x6 table and a 3x3 tent with all HLG boards. 6 HLG 320W QB XL's and 1 650RSpec I will say from my past year and a half of using them that I would not use them again without having a lot of ceiling height. My ceilings are 8 feet and I have my boards mounted as high as I can possibly mount them and they are still damn near too strong. I pretty much never get to turn them up to full strength because by the time the plants can handle it, they're too close to the lights.

If you have regular height ceilings go for the Bar LED's.

Damn. I actually thought I was bugging out when my plants would starting acting weird whenever I increased the intensity on my board. Even with plants that's been under them for a month and a half, I could not go past 50%. The funny thing a rep at HLG told me to hit 70% before transitioning and they barely can even 50%. What percentage are you flowering at?

If looking for even coverage bar style are best and most versatile. Boards can grow nice buds too though. But now prices have come down to where you can buy a few cheaper lights or 1 very good one.

Arrays will always work the best, Co2 would be needed for 3 6500s or even 2 l think. I would love to try it out. Flower only, veg 10% power tops.
