Something is wrong with your roots? Duh...so much shit can go wrong with Hydro... iI had a terrible initial experience because I was cheap. Check out my embarrassing grow journal if you are bored and looking for someone to make fun of...I tried everything to avoid paying 500 bucks for a water cooler and about 100 bucks for a good PH meter/TDS meter. I also spent a ton of money on CRAP like great white and hydro guard - only (and this is just my opinion) to end up with root rot. After NOT taking the advice of people on this forum and basically wasting 7 months of my life growing trash buds I finally listened and here's what I came up with....Go sterile...Buy a water cooler... My roots have never been happier and I shock my plants because i go from dirt (veg) then cut off 2/3rds of the root base and floewr in DWC...they take about 4 days to a week to recover and explode. I use Pool Shock which IMO last longer then just regular bleach but that good be my imagination. But My girls roots look happy as fuck...

The color is from the middle bottle of the 3 part flora series....I make sure my chlorine level is about .25-.5 PPM. Keep the PPM around 500-600 and the PH is pretty consistent at around 5.6-5.8 GH hydro series does a good job of keeping the PH relatively balanced.
