To start off the seeds we got came from some bags of some dank that we have got locally over the past few months and we have gathered about fifty or so seeds through bags we bought and also seeds our friends find in bags.
Our germination process is a new method and something that my brother found on the internet and he thought he would try it out. We have used the bowl over a saucer method and it worked well but this time we just took about twenty seeds and put them in a wet paper towel and put tem in a small glass jar (pic below)
Our grow box is made out of two 18 gal. sterilte containers. They are to seem as stealth as possible as to not quite seem what they really are. They are used this way the top container has the bottom cut out, as the bottom lid has the middle cut out to where it is glued on to the bottom of the top container. on the sides of the bottom container there are holes cut out to fit the different fans on either side. Inside the bottom container it a security blanket glued to the walls.
The lights we are using are used with simple plug in's that the lights screw into. we are using six CFL's that are pluged into this surge protector. The pattern of the lights from left to right on the surge protector are this
1-23w
vplug with 1-23w-1-43w
1-13w
vplug with 1-13w-1-43w
Next to the lights is a standard computer fan that is mounted to the lid of the container with regular wood screws and L-mounts and wired to an old cell phone charger and pluged into the wall.
Our plants are going to go into dixie cups with ten holes drilled in the bottom and placed in a plastic tub. the soil that is going to go in the cups is Premium Potting Mix 0.2%-0.1%-0.2% it is made of 50-60% Composted Pine bark, Vermeculite, Canadian Sphagum, Pete Moss, and Perlite.
