UVA, UVB and UVC are capable of causing skin irritation, tans, and burns, as well as the potential for premature aging, cancer, and eye damage.BE sure you are covered up and wearing proper eye protection when you are around UV lights. Here is a good article on UV light.

I guess I’ll post it here, im only going to mention it once. I don’t want to argue and there are many ways to growing I just want to present some facts.

In the class I’m taking they mention UV-A and UV-B light. UV-B had a much more significant impact. They notice no significant cannabinoid increase with using either or. It actually typically decreased overall cannabinoid content due to ripening/degrading the trichomes at an accelerated rate. I wonder if it could be mitigated by shortening flower cycle. Then you would have faster finishing flower.

I still don’t believe this is the definitive answer, but it’s a piece of information none the less. Too much conflicting information out there for me to personally form an opinion on it yet. This is also preliminary studies on hemp, not cannabis. But should translate.
