I’ve always used a “big squirt” of Dawn in my 35 gallon spray tank when spraying with Roundup, or seasonal pre emergent as a surfactant.
Yucca for the win. This has been a problem we have faced, is that our peat based soil (C25), does have a lot of surface tension when dry, and the water/feed ends up finding the path of least resistance, and flows out the bottom via the sides mostly. I wonder if adding a drop of Joy liquid soap per 5 gallons would help with this? Doesn't seem to be as big of a problem once they are in 7 gallon pots, but when im making clones in 5 inch pots, they seem to be hard to penetrate the whole pot, and I can peek down the side of the pot after I have saturated it, and the sides are dry.
Where do you get if from?Yucca for the win.
This stuff?Yucca for the win.
I got mine off Amazon, but they don't sell it anymore. Next time I need some I'll probably get the stuff from Build a Soil.Where do you get if from?
It has been my experience any amount that doesn’t foam up is plentyI’ve always used a “big squirt” of Dawn in my 35 gallon spray tank when spraying with Roundup, or seasonal pre emergent as a surfactant.
A “medium squirt” does better. How I know does not bear telling.I’ve always used a “big squirt” of Dawn in my 35 gallon spray tank when spraying with Roundup, or seasonal pre emergent as a surfactant.

Check out the Quiallaja Saponin Extract. Its steller.I got mine off Amazon, but they don't sell it anymore. Next time I need some I'll probably get the stuff from Build a Soil.
Therm X-70 Yucca Extract - Natural Plant Wetting Agent
Therm X-70 is a highly effective yucca-based wetting agent, enhancing water penetration for healthier plant growth. With its natural saponin content, it improves water distribution in the soil, aiding plants in dry conditions and acting as an efficient spreader for foliar applications.buildasoil.com
Not at all. just looking for enough to reduce water tension is all.So would a drop per 3 gallons be too much?
Hie thee from the big squirt, pilgrim!Yeesh

Buildasoil has itWhere do you get it?
Is it this stuff? This stuff seems expensive.Buildasoil has it
Seeing as your commercial I would look into a stronger possibly industrial surfactant that’s safe to use. I would be cautious throwing soap on a large grow. I use and like yucca, but looking for something i could use less of.This has been a problem we have faced, is that our peat based soil (C25), does have a lot of surface tension when dry, and the water/feed ends up finding the path of least resistance, and flows out the bottom via the sides mostly. So would you say this is safer to use?Seeing as your commercial I would look into a stronger possibly industrial surfactant that’s safe to use. I would be cautious throwing soap on a large grow. I use and like yucca, but looking for something i could use less of.
I would feel aloooot better using this tbh. The heavy metal assay looks good, dosent give specific numbers just the less thans, but if it’s horticultural grade I assume those numbers mean it’s near zero contaminants. that’s also total contams not what is bio-available to the plant. So would you say this is safer to use?
Ultra Dawn blue. Rescued fowl worldwide attest.JASUS!.. ok, doing the math, a 50 gallon tank will need 750ml per tank. The 32oz bottle is about 946ml. .. and about $30 a bottle. I use anywhere from 50-85 gallons a day depending on the days needs. $900 a month... I'll have to find a cheaper solution.
