How early can you chop?

I think you're worrying too much about shit that don't matter. Harvest the plant when it's ready. It's not rocket science. Would you pick a green tomato and eat it? Just think of that scenario and apply it to your weed. Imagine the disappointment of biting into that green tomato expecting it to taste good and its not good at all.

OK, you guys are probably right. I just checked the dates and I chopped my Zamal x Nepal Jam on October 28, and it started sprouted in July 12 and it started flowering in less than 5 weeks, so let's say that by August 20 it was already flowering, that gives it 69 days of flowering, and ACE says it is ready at 63, so it was a good time when I chopped it. Gotta give these Mexican Airlines at least 3 more weeks then.
I bet your gonna say it was bomb too

Yeah, no. That wasn't even close to ready. Breeder estimates are a joke.

In the first post you said you're noticing deficiencies. When a plant is deficient in nutrients, it takes them from older leaves and moves them to other parts of the plant where they are needed. So the "symptoms" of many deficiencies are actually the effect of the plant cannibalizing it's own leaves. More fan leaves = more leaves that can be cannibalized before deficiencies affect the buds and new growth.

Guaranteed that plant wasn't even close to being done regardless of the trichomes. I don't even look at the trichomes because they are not as reliable as so many people think they are. And the clear/cloudy/amber for a head or body high is unreliable as well.

But it was your plant to harvest early if you wanted based off of some trichomes.

Going by trichomes alone is the number one cause of people harvesting early.
I've seen over 2 weeks early because trichomes added to breeder claims. Finally got the guy down the road to wait a full 2 weeks after he told me they were done. He had to add staking because of bud weight increasing and buds swelling more. Now he's already adding 2 weeks to the longest flower time per breeder claims.

Seeing is believing.
