More than half the cannabis books out there from so called Master Growers are full of broscience nonsense. And just what the hell qualifies someone as a master grower? A following of naive growers?

Some of us prefer science over these Master Growers you refer to.

Cannabis sativa L. (hemp, marijuana), a member of the family Cannabaceae, is a diploid (2n = 20) outcrossing plant which produces male and female inflorescences on different plants (dioecious).

Hermaphroditism in Marijuana (Cannabis sativa L.) Inflorescences – Impact on Floral Morphology, Seed Formation, Progeny Sex Ratios, and Genetic Variation

Master grower is someone who follows the science of the plant to the tee. They provide exactly what the plant needs with knowledge of what each reaction means. Master growers develop styles for breeders and growers and caregivers. They set the standards and are the ones who continually have success no matter the genes. I’m not sure if we have different definitions for this topic but let me simplify it for you. You are considered a master if you have hundreds of SUCCESSFUL harvests under your belt. Simple man

I think he was referring to canucks youtube channel.
I don’t know a single one who has written anything. And what difference would it make for you. It’s your experience that gives you knowledge and skill you can read all the stuff in the world till you try your hand at it and with application your skill will develop.

I think it’s just semantics.
There’s no official master grower certification that I know of.
But to have just 100 successful proper 4 month indoor grows would take 33 years.
Depending on one’s definition of grow.
Anyone who’s grown that long would surely know the difference between a male and female cannabis plant.

I just posted a science based article from the Department of Biological Sciences, Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada. Science says that there are distinct male and female cannabis plants. You and these master growers say otherwise? Do you have a degree in plant biology? Or are you just repeating what some stoner that wrote a book said?

Did you even bother to read what I linked to? I know it's not as easy a read as some of the master grower cannabis books you read but it's based on real science.

I still haven gotten the answer. If I have a plant that herms, I can use that pollen to create feminized seeds?
All female cannabis plants have the potential to "herm".
Some just display intersex traits very easily and in higher numbers. (landrace sativas for example)
so your telling me that a herm cannabis plant will give out pollen to create female cannabis seeds? You don’t have to reverse a female cannabis plant to male. Just use a herm pollen

non of my plants have ever herm out on me.
Even if I stress them out. Reveg or anything.

Yes. But I wouldnt.
Before PGRs, stress was the preferred method for creating fem'd seeds.

I cant imagine anyone in todays canna scene intentionally introducing pollen from a true herm into the gene pool
