It has been garage kept and has extremely low mileage. Still in mint condition. 8 track tape deck included.

I suspect it has not been driven for "Joy" riding in more than 40 years.

An eight-track too ! They were the bomb a while back. Sweet ride !

My neighbor had one. He was older (so obviously cooler lol) and was always working on it. Put glass paks on, etc. I fell in love with them. Maybe someday in retirement I’ll find a project car and putz around

I see them on the road once in a blue moon........love that old muscle car......I remember when those type of cars slammed you back in the seat when going through the gears.

you know what’s crazy is all these car companies still throwing so much cash at advertising. My wife just bought a MACH-E and needs to be on a waitlist for ~20 wks. $500 down holds it. It’s almost like Supply & Demand doesn’t hold true? - it’s more like keeping up the brand name even tho the cars are in such demand. The dealer told us a test drive was not realistic. But we did finally find one to test drive but couldn’t but that one. crazy

prices are wacky as ever right now too. Any in demand model ( ex: new Bronco 2dr, Subaru STI, Toyota Supra, Honda Civic Type R, Challenger Scat pack/hellcat/demon, Jeep SRT-8 has dealer markups up to $20,000 on top of MSRP. If you bought a new Mazda3 turbo, Subaru WRX/STI, or Audi S3/S4/S5 1 or 2 years ago you could walk into the same dealership you purchased your car at and sell it back for a profit right now.

i wish i would have done the same. the list of cars i wanted and was saving towards pre pandemic is much less attainable right now

I had just bought a new car and the awd computer was shot, they had to buy it back under lemon laws and I had to wait over a month for my replacement. I lucked out as I was able to lock in the price on a higher trim. People were probably paying 10k more for the same car.

I want this, but I can’t think of any logical reason to spend 100k+ on a station wagon. If I cross that line between want and need, well let’s just say my wife has a long list of wants.

Audi is putting out some nice cars.

I like nice cars and I could afford to buy many but I don't. I just can't see spending the money.

RS6 has been on my list of dream cars for almost a decade as well. A racecar disguised as a station wagon? yes please.

I like nice cars and I could afford to buy many but I don't. I just can't see spending the money.

Think of it as an investment. Buy the baddest model available, have a little fun, and park it in a climate controlled environment for 10 years.
