The turkey bags will work just fine. The trick is to not over roll your hash or it's going to stick. Dont worry if it does stick, just put the bag/hash in the freezer for a minute , take it out, then fold the hash to roll again. If you look at the 2nd pic I posted, the edges are golden, imo, i rolled the edges too thin and it was hard to pick up in one piece to fold, follow? DONT OVERWORK THE HASH WITHTHE HOT WATER BOTTLE is my biggest piece of advice. Have you watched any Frenchy vids? If not , you should. It will be extremely helpful.

It smokes great. The 73/45 balls are full melt. I only smoke hash at night though, nighty night time when I do. I usually top a bowl of bud with it and smoke through my bong.

@lusidghost i follow Frenchy's method and run my bud through a washer with 32°water and as little ice as i need. Bubble

Ah, bubble hash. Okay. Thanks. I saw my dad and his friend doing this with their bubble hash, but I didn't realize they were making a temple ball. I thought he was trying to press it to get the extra water out.

Yeah, problem is that temple balls are/were? special because of the selection/material and quality that went into making them. Trying to reproduce them while you can make some dank product isn’t identical the “The” temple balls of lore

That's why I assumed that it was made from kief or finger hash or something. Bubble hash is a relatively new process.

Was really just commenting on how they aren’t equal even if made that traditional method. Wasn’t trying to throw any shade of how it came across.

No they arent. I cant really talk shit because I never smoked "real" temple balls but I personally dont feel like I'm missing out on some hand rubbed hash with dead skin cells and god knows what else rubbed in there lol. Maybe the landrace they were growing made them "special" but how would we ever know?

Not saying I know either lol, never had a toke from one. Was just saying the magic is in the material not the mode. From what I have heard was special and why it’s still tossed about in 2021

I collect my keif and keep it in that form, I have messed around with different techniques in the past and don’t see the return vs time invested to change that, smoke quite a bit of heady type sat so I think I got a hold on that yeah. Not looking to argue lol

Interesting process, I make bubble hash from time to time but I've never seen it getting worked over like this afterward.

What does rolling it with the hot water bottle do to it, I can see how it changes visually but how does this process change the way it smokes?

Temple balls are the shit. This inspired me to make some, I haven't done it in a long time. This time I'll age them for a year or more before I smoke them. If your interested I'd suggest watching frenchy cannolis vids on pressing hash. Rip frenchy. Wish I had the chance to meet him but I'll keep his passion alive by using his methods to make some killer hash. It's a very interesting watch (his tutorial) and it explains everything in great detail. Frenchy was a smart guy and very passionate about his hash.

Has to do with partially decarbing the material with the heat. Just watch the vid
This is the first part. More about washing but it explains a bunch. Then just keep going with video #2 etc
