First time grower

So I got my first tent and decided I would try my hand at growing. I planted 1seed Berry Ryder and then I planted 3 random seeds from some I just had laying around. Now the Berry Ryder grew of course as it is a autoflower and a paid for seed, my random 3 seeds did not. Since I was still within my first week I decided to try more seeds from my random seed pile to see if they would work, but this time I would put 2 seeds in each pot just in case. Well now I have 7 plants and I’m worried about over crowding. I have re-ordered my tent and would like any tips on what I should do next.

take better care of your seeds name them store in raw rice in med bottles in freeze all well named

germ proper like not a noob use a dish so you monitor correct like, if you need heat use ya modem etc

2+ plants per pot unless you're in like 100 gallons or a bed is going to cause issues. Either try to repot one to a pot or just kill off the weakest one in each pot depending on how you feel about wasting seeds.

My biggest tip is that less is going to be more in 90% of cases while growing. There's a huge amount of bad information out there about growing so listen to a lot of people's perspectives and find the common ground. Implement one change at a time so you know what your adding or changing is actually helping. If you plan on growing organicically or in living soil I recommend reading all 3 of Jeff Lowenfels "teaming with _____" books.

As a new grower I wouldn't run multiple strains. I would either grow feminized seeds or just autoflower. 1 or the other. Unless you are planning different grow areas.

This is true too of Sativa, Indicas or even Hybrids as theirs so much to take in and easy missed

So my seeds came from purchased store bud. Came labeled as seedy so I am not sure what or where they came from as it was a house blend bag. I can aim for a smaller batch after this one

I have been reading a lot of books and sites and have since upgraded my lights. I lost 3 plants 2 due to over feeding and one due to bad lighting. You are right I have had to pick and chose what advice to follow as it is not all good advice. I will check out those books

They were mystery seeds so I had no clue of their status. I will keep this in mind when I buy seeds.

Don't grow AutoFlower plants they are stupid you can't clone them they are unpredictable and take just as long if not longer than a clone would take under far less hours of light in bloom.
