Anyone watching the elections?

I understand. Where I have a problem is the exemptions are all being denied at this point. If I've had covid and have an issue with blood clotting, a medical exemption should be a no brainer. Problem is, it ain't happening. I don't believe that a mandate is necessary, especially since the science isn't being followed. A doctor's note should exempt you, period. I trust my doc over HR or half of the political hacks that want to control me.

Full disclosure: I'm vaxxed.
The pro vax anti mandate position is a very popular opinion that gets zero coverage.

The media feels like it's their job to only give coverage to pro vax pro mandate positions. This obvious tilt fuels the tin foil hat guys that think the vaccine is some 5g brain control bs.

Telling Americans that they're being forced to do anything is a way to guarantee that a large percentage of them will refuse. Especially when one of your campaign promises was no vaccine mandate.

Those folk came in pre-deranged.

Well “Americans” need to buck up then, stop whining “freedum!” and put their backs into the common good.

A mandate is not science, it's a political position.

Science is capable of making vaccines, they need a government to force people to take it.

For many people their personal benefit from the Covid vaccine is a no brainer. For others the benefits aren't statistically significant for them personally.

The newest group to be approved has had around 100 deaths since this started. They're more likely to die from drowning in a bath tub than dying of Covid. Yet they need this protection, protection from what?

Let’s look at California for just a second.
Semi emission laws toughest in the country400,000 truck license deemed invalid last year alone.

Fuel is up so much freight isn’t getting delivered and it’s going to get worse.
So what's wrong with strict emissions laws for trucks? Why would that be a bad thing? You should get that old piece of shit truck off the road and out of service anyways

Yeah, I agree fuel cost is up, but to say freight isn't getting delivered...

You don't know what the fck you're talking about lol

Take a look at ANY truckstop or rest area and come back to tell me trucks aren't out here delivering freight. If you trying to compare the situation at the ports right now with the entire trucking industry, you're a damn fool

A mandate in this instance is the application of things learned scientifically and applied politically.

As for that last paragraph, I’ll need to see your sources. It is no secret that there are nonsense statistics being floated as if real.

You seem to be caught up in false equivalence.

Dying from Covid is a separate and independent risk from drowning in the bathtub. And I doubt that 700,000 people died in that manner since the pandemic began. It's a good bet that the 700,000 US who died from Covid is a low number. So stfu with the non-sequitur BS.

Who has been FORCED to get vaccinated in the US? There have been none so far as I've seen. So, tell me, exactly who and how many?

If you want to cry about rights, well, what about the rights of people who have medical issues that render the vaccine less effective or people who can't due to a medical risk? Doesn't an employer have the right to protect their right to a safe work environment?
