I was thinkin I coulda been a little early but it had quite a bit of amber trikes and it started doing alot of foxtailing so I bushwhacked it didn’t want it to be a couch locker

Couchlock and such is strain dependant ie sativa hybrid or indica. Looking at the buds looked like 3 to 4 weeks were left.

I’d start weighing it now while it dries, jar it when its nearly done losing weight.

I simply wait until the pistils all turn brown then wait 2 weeks. Testing has proven its easier and accurate opposed to checking trichromes.

don’t go by the tricome look at the overall bud for when you don’t see the pistols from being swollen like this pic

Annnnnnnnd this is why you don't use trichomes as a judge of readiness.

Well done. Harvesting early is a sin, but can be excused during a first grow. You're going to be sad when you come back to discover that your beer bottle buds are the size of the neck. Just a warning for the future heartbreak.

I harvested early during my first grow. I don’t care, I was just happy to be smoking my own herb. It was much better than anything I was buying on the street anyway.

Got two plants still growing one photo and one auto the photo is huge it’s like 4 inches from max light height

gotcha I didn’t see but a few white ones maybe 5 percent or so

And I just realized the small bud pictured is from a different plant les mature
