GrowCab setup

Thought i'd post my growcab.

sterilite 6' cabinet
veg. room with four cfl's
flower with 150w compact hps
i used pc fans and ac adapters from the local recycling center for all my intake/exhaust.
the outside was painted black, inside white to help with light proofing.
and the flaps are made from reflectix, used velcro to secure them in place. the flaps help with further light proofing and separating the two chambers.
and i made a scrog screen from one of the extra shelves.
in all when everything is running it uses about 280 watts

right now i've got some bubblelicious from nirvana in the veg. and a pack of their hindu kush seeds waiting around. i'm trying to keep them nice and short, hence the scrog. i'm gonna try and do a two plant scrog each each round. i'm a new grower so i don't know how tall the plants will actually get, but they have room to get to 2'. that's with the light at its highest and the containers i have now.

thanks, and yeah building it was a lot cheaper than going out and buying something. building it was almost as fun as what i'm doing with it now, too

You'll have to start them flowering quite early if you only have 2' of height. Even with scrog I personally wouldn't veg for more than 2-3 weeks with an indica, and wouldn't consider growing a sativa in that sort of space. I read that bubblelicious is a short indica so you should be okay, but as I said, start flowering sooner rather than later with your first crop, to make sure they have plenty of headroom, you don't want to have to snip the tops late into flowering, mine didn't like that!

thanks, i appreciate the advice. height was definitely one of the biggest factors when i chose bubblelicious. i'm planning on sexing the plants i have now by flowering clones, i guess that'd help give me an idea of how much they'll stretch. but i don't know how to compare that to what i'll see when i scrog.
