Robert A Heinlein, Stranger in a strange land. I read this book every decade, I process it differently each time. Funny, sad, sexual, and political. A good look at the human condition!!!
I don't understand your comedy are you saying you read kiddies books
Family Circus is a comic in American newspapers.I don't understand your comedy are you saying you read kiddies books
What are you reading? And what do you recommend?
I just knew if I waited long enough I'd find someone like you who share my thoughts on Steven King,Right now I'm reading Under The Dome by Stephen King. And let me tell you, I hate Stephen Kings writing... I think he's a mediocre writer at best that just won't quit typing up his bullshit ideas.
I really like Augusten Burroughs, he has a way of keeping my attention.
In " Running With Scissors" who do you think is the most f'd up , Dr. Banks or Burroughs' mother ? Do you think the book is comedy or horror ?I just knew if I waited long enough I'd find someone like you who share my thoughts on Steven King,
to me they all seem the same even stenciled out,
I've just finished fast ice by clive cussler 3/10 was a cookie cutter/ stenciled book
cheers
As a teen, I loved that and the Skylark series. If you want to immerse yourself in an old school science fiction, galactic spanning series...you owe it to yourself to read the Lensman Series by E.E. Smith. Total hoot to read and it only gets better book after book.
Burroughs' mother who forces her kid, August to live with the Finches, are maybe crazy but the mom is around the bend, I'd see it as a crapped out comedy more so over the fumbling sex, and indecisive kid.. a memoir by Augusten Burroughs not Steven King 3/10In " Running With Scissors" who do you think is the most f'd up , Dr. Banks or Burroughs' mother ? Do you think the book is comedy or horror ?
