Yup that was with a cheapy 42 watt hps fixture from home depot directly above it lol..... who cares tho!
i was smokin tonight and was wondering if the cfl light spectrum can be changed with colored transparent paper. would that help the grow? more red light and the same lumens. has anyone done that? still high so not too sure how much im making sence. i like physics and experiments.

OK Just got done taking 2 cuttings ( 2 lower stems about 4-5 inches long ). Took these cuttings from plant of what i was told was durban poison and what i believe after researching pix on the internet...
Im cloning these cuttings simply by cutting the bottom of the stem @ a 45 degree angle, lightly scraping off the bottom 1/2 inch outer "skin" lol.... This time im dipping 1 cutting in superthrive and one cutting in rooting compound from dro sto...Only to try to ensure these things take cuz im out of seeds lol, and want to see which works better!
After I cut,scraped and dipped I placed the cuttings in a cup with a half inch of plain tap water and into my veg spot in the corner under an old cool blue aquatic strip light i had laying around, also in indirect cfl lighting as well.
I will change the water out every day with my tool also pitured below just another dro sto gadget that i put a lil tube on the end of so i dont have to bother the clones or move um.
I dont usually dip cuttings in anything and have had them develope root bumps within 2 days so we shall see how this works. The last time i dipped i think it prolonged root structure growth.
Anyhow its sunday im going to track this daily.

whats up onthedl.. I am interested to see that Durban Poison cutting..when I ordered from Attitude that is one of the free fem seeds I got..I plan to plant it outside this summer..THC level is not the greatest..but I think the looks of it make up for it...it will be nice to throw some purple in my life..

Hey super like i said im unsure of the strain but ive researched the net and found many pix of poison in all types of growth stages and im almost sure that my source Although uncredible was for once right at least its a cross strain...Heres a pic of the mom that i took the cutting from to get to this point...
Very short growing plant and not much yield i think i pulled about 3/4 zip from her vegged till a foot....But everything else including the high is amazing and all on its own....
Matter of fact dude germ that thing so i can cross reference and know once and for all!

hahaha My bad heres a couple pics of the supposed poison i put into the flower spot right after i cut her..... The first ones a few days ago, then today....hahaha im such a thread hooker!

Never tried that...but imagine that the paper would shield the light and loss of lumens would occur, The combination of lumens per square foot X the prescence of red spectrum I think is what is most important during this phase. Just roll with it and add more hps to the system as u go, I think thats ur best bet...

UPDATE:
Changed the water and went to 1/2 strength on the pink clones.... Growth explosion overnight! Still alot of wierd growth with one leaf up the main stalk but do have 4 new stems per clone, hopefully those will be ready to cut soon.
And once again just a lil more porn of my nuggies in the morn...
Cant even imagine a full sog tub of this!
The moms are drinking 2 gallons of water a day now and love to eat....
The clones in sog tub drank 4 gallons in 3 days.

Holy crap dude. Is it me or is the pink getting stronger? The pistils seem a stronger and darker pink now than your first pic. Plus they're frosty as hell. Righteous!

Yea man its a trip....The colas that turned pink are deffinetely staying pink ( my main cola is not pink! ) But the 2 clones are main cola tops and the bud sites turned pink (currently) while reverting to veg....Not quite glow in the dark flourescent anymore but are most deffinetely pink.... These things are eating like crazy! Gotta be carefull cuz when i woke up this morning the 5 gallon bucket was down to about 2 gallons...thats about how much im feeding as well.... Cant believe how fast these things are maturing its sick in the head... when i started this thread they were 3 weeks and 3 days into flower.... Hold up need to go smoke a bowl for my pink!
