Found rot on one of my two big Tirah that is furthest into flowering. Fortunately not a huge amount and it is easy to spot. Just means more time and effort inspecting, removing and spraying. End of October can’t get here soon enough LOL. In the meantime they are purty at least -

The trick is to have the plant first staked, which you might do this time of year anyway, and just stand back a bit. Also, exhaust your shop vac. I've actually used a shop vac to suck bugs and crap from only really big plants.. smaller grows I know have used hair dryers, fans, whatever. But you can only haggle with mother nature so much .. lolI’ve tried a leaf blower too, but mine is just to powerful and I was afraid of hurting the little ladies. Lol

Checked with a blacklight and nothing, bud still looks fresh but there was a good size spider under a nearby fan, maybe he got it.

... so it looks like you might be a wet trimmer, I’m only a wet trimmer till I can’t keep up (outdoor grows as I’m finding out might do that apparently)... Got (3) more ladies (pulled my Prayer Pupil due to extensive bud rot, not lost but definitely arbitrary.)... The last (3) dare all different strains and reasonably holding up with minimal rot.. so far. Come on October, be righteous!

Yeah, they’re easy to trim upright. Been trimming live and letting them go a couple days before chop.

I said this past year but next year I’m downsizing a ton. All small pots, starting late, netting completely from the air and transferring to the garage when it rains

Yea, I'm on that tip. I have surprisingly little rot this year, just the one for the most part. My buds are just entering what I call 'cheese mode' not sure why, I'm only now where I should have been like a month ago, lol.
HOWEVER, I have seen buds double even triple in size within the last two weeks. Prob half my crop is puffball-big popcorn, if it does what it should, I may be on luck. I've never had a patch this late with so little rot,the one plant. Some tops are starting to plump up nicely., I'll be able to squeak thru winter AND have killer seeds. For next year.

So far away and long ago, I was kinda hippy, and I used to pull the whole plant, root and all, and hang it.
In my new house, i had to deal with damp basement and dry attic. Leaving the leaves on to help a slow cure is a technique i learned. However, the dry trim is so tedious, especially in bulk (ish, i think we all have different ideas of bulk) so there's 2 different methods, one is a rough wet trim, and one is a little more intricate.
And with the newer practices, ie., bud washing, wet trim is the way to go. If you have only a few plants, a dry trim can give you some extra leaf to give away, make butter, etc.
