VEG Question

Ok...DWC. I have tons of experience growing auto's... but these are my first photo period plants. The large plant in the back was born on 7/29...the other two around 8/23. They are about 3 weeks apart. All three plants are sativa. The plant towards the back is much larger than the other two... Obviously so because it's 3 weeks older. Anyway... I wanted to let the other two get bigger before I switch to 12/12 light cycle. I am presently running 18/6 light cycle. Is it okay to let my larger plant veg longer so the other two can catch up in size?

You can let the larger plant veg as long as you'd like, you just need to take into consideration how much height you have to work with. Measure the height of your tent, and remember that you will need distance between your light and the plants. Being sativas they will stretch as much as 3x in height during flower, possibly even more but I don't grow sativas very often, mostly indica dominant hybrids but some of those have grown 3x in height during flower too.
So veg as long as you'd like, just do some height calculations first :bigjoint:

If its heavy sativa beware. It will defy any planning.
I have done two outdoor runs with a sat leaning plant that stretches like no tomorrow. Breaking limbs seems to help, but those bitches dont want to branch and keep growing upwards

You’ll need to train or top imo . The bigger plant is growing too so how do you plan for the others to catch up?

They get big real quick when they’re that size.

Can sativas have fat leaves like that? I would’ve guessed 100% indica.
