New to Hydro - Clone Drooping ?

Soil grower here trying out hydro. Clones rooted in root riot cubes placed in 6inch net pots. They were doing fine yesterday but now are starting to droop. They have been in for only a day or so. I water them a little 200ml water from the res twice yesterday. The leaves aren't burned but they do have a purple hue at tip however I think this is genetic.

Your water temp needs to be 65-68.. 74 will cause root rot..

Is 500ppm too high?

500 should be ok.. Have the roots reached the water yet? You may need to top water till they do.
Or raise the water level to the bottom of the net pot..

I have been feeding at the top

You will need to water from the top often with that set up. Id water ever 2 or 3 hours from the top till you see roots.

Or raise the water level up.


You don't really need food at this point. Just straight tap water would be fine. 500ppm is probably fine tho but a little higher than what I would start at. I ran just tap for 2 weeks with no problems. My tap has a lot of n tho.

I flood my clay every 40 min but im flood drain not dwc.
