I don't, the only shiskaberry I grew was from SOL in the early 2000's. Didn't fully appreciate it back then but I've missed it ever since. I ordered Barbara Bud so I'm looking forward to seeing how similar they are.
Speaking of the great gardener...

afghooey, romulan, morning star, blue domina, cali-o, super silver haze, blue dot, a purple strain that had a million different variations of name but was mostly just called purple bud, shiskaberry, and somango are some of the strains i remember in Oakland early 2000's. without mentioning the regulars like white widow, blackberry kush, durban, etc. I can remember the morning star being knock out buds and touting some of the highest thc at the time; ~ 25%.

The first place I ever went to had the best stuff hands down. It was all very well trimmed, and just beautiful buds of every strain. It came in sealed jars, and they didn't weigh it. some 1/8ths would weigh 5 grams. They would just fill the jars with bud and call it done. no fucking joke. A buddy and I would go there and buy a few ounces in 8th jars, but it was almost twice as much in weight every time. lol. They eventually became privy to it all.

I've been doing some strain revival myself these past several months. I remember the good old days where schwagg was all you could find and when you did, were more than happy with a zip for 20/30 bucks! Me and a few buddies would chip in or maybe buy a bag on gp and suprise the guys or a date but I was always the one who would always, always save the seeds!
Throughout the years I've grown out and have crossed a few and this is what I've come up with. Brainwashed. I have many more photos of previous grows but have to fire up the my old Windows XP with 50gb hard drive and usb Wi-Fi and hope i can still transfer over the web's.

In statement, I've spent way too much money for seed bank and breeder genetics but still have this nostalgic need to grow old bag seed and reminisce of the old times. It's all so therapeutic to sit in your grow room, close your eyes and smell things other than strawberry, lemon, pine, diesel and earthy smells...this plant i have now reminds me of(lemme go take a whiff real quick!) Over-ripe, misty peaches and the Hershey's chocolate that came in a can!
I can go on and on about old genetics...

My first grow outdoors 2 years ago was Pine Tar Kush that I acquired from a friend who had bought it directly from Tom Hill. Beautiful, 8 foot christmas tree with an amazing piney smell. Did a seed run early this year, as the stock was getting pretty old. Got this awesome purple pheno as the mother plant!

Cali orange,, Orange crush, bubblegum, dj shorts blueberry and I don't know if ak-47 could be considered a 90s strain? Think AK hit the scene in early 2000s
I grew AK-47 in 1995 while in high school, second pack of seeds I ever ordered from the Netherlands (first was Warlock from Magus). I'm not sure, but if memory serves, it was a year or two old at that point-I'd seen something about it in High Times, maybe it won a Cannabis Cup or something. It was one of Serious Seeds first strains. I kept the best female alive in the stand of my fish tank all through college lol. It was one of THE strains of the 90s.

Does anyone remember Purple Skunk from the 2000s? Particularly on Vancouver Island. I don't know if that was the proper name but I think it's a parent of God Bud? I was just a teenager at the time and didn't know much or have good connections. People I'd buy from never had multiple strains to pick from and I'd be lucky if I ever knew the name of what I'd get but that one definitely stood out. Very purple looking, true to its name but it had the fiercest, most pungent skunk odour I could recall. You could not hide this stuff from your parents if you kept it inside lol.. I had it in my closet triple bagged hidden in a board game and my mom sniffed it out. My parents are cool so they didn't flush it then later on I just sniffed it out to where they had attempted to hide it on me, probably to smoke on a special occasion for themselves haha...

My weed coming of age was Burmese, Texada Timewarp, said Purple Skunk, AK-47, White Widow etc.
