Why do we feed, water, water with soil?

Wow, ok buddy. As i already said, its everywhere. Bottles of nutrients, many threads, grow journals, etc. Are you gonna tell me right now that there isnt highly skilled growers out there that follow a similar schedule?
Sorry you didnt like the word "we", obviously not you and the concept doesnt make sense to me either, but dont act like you've never heard it before.
They're just busting your balls. You can feed and water in many ways to get great results. The feeding frequency's all about how strong the actual feed is. It's tedious to mix nutrients compared to just filling a jug of water as an example. In soil that is, hydro is a different ball game.

It doesn't really matter if you feed a smaller dose every time, or feed, water, water at a higher dose. You're gonna want runoff whenever you're using the chemicals though.

And the thing about soil is it can hold on to salts and some nutrients easier than coco. So if I was gonna use chemicals I'd just use coco. But I'm in organic soil, so I don't use chemicals in it.

I still dont see the logic. Yes, you should read your plants and feed what they ask for, but why in an on/off schedule? Container size is irrelevant. If soil grows use larger container that hold more nutrients, then drop the ppm to match what the plant is consuming. Why alternate feed and water? If the plant shows its getting too much, drop the ppm of the solution you are feeding with every water. What am i missing?
Container size is completely relevant. Plants in 100+ gallons of soil need a different feed schedule than a plant in 3 gallons of coco that needs to be fed 3x a day. Thats why I ended my post with its best to learn to read your own plants, instead of listening to some stupid forum rule like "feed, water, water" and thinking that applies to every situation.

Yes, its relevant to the amount of feed, but why would it ever need to be in intervals and not just adjust the amount in every feeding.

We assume omnipotence. Humans are ignorant and vane. Just help nature. Hydro falls short if not a lab.
LMFAO this is priceless
Man people need to wake up to actual terminology. Hydro is wet, duh. And soil is but better medium when properly fed. Show me you are smarter than mother nature.
Learn to make a proper sentence, then try to make sense.
