If growing indoors in coco/perlite, the gh flora series works great.051C8BFE-2647-4261-BF82-E16AB6BC28EA.jpeg I add a little cal mag and some h2o2 as well, but probably not needed, I just read and listen to too much blog bs…. Here’s my current girls at 2 weeks into 12/12, sour diesel and Durban Poison in a 6’ x 5’ scrog. I am using the same lighting, a HLG 600 R with a few added cheap side lights, about 100w additional I’m using a recirculating drip feed system, several fans, and change the 17 gallon res about every 4 days or so, it’s very low by then anyway. I have a grow log with more info. I would change nutes myself, but a little cal mag won’t hurt if you want to try it.

Lol. Mr. Canuck is not a medium.
He's a youtube guy that promotes growing in coco with gaia green dry amendments.
I've yet to see a successful grow using his method.
Any advice on what medium would be best for using the Gia green all purpose and power bloom

Will giving it cal mag help
That Gaea 444 doesn't look right for coco.

A calcium nitrate based product like Jacks 321 with mag sulfate as needed would work without using calmag.
Also Canna A + B should have everything you need. A little mag sulfate at the right times with that as well.
Those are what I have used successfully in coco.

Of course this is just my opinion.
Good luck!

Any solutions on how to treat the problem?
Your plants looks like they have some mechanical damage. If I were you I'd transplant them to unamended coco and go full hydro or soil and do a soil grow to get your feet under you.
Calcium def.......anybody?
It doesn't look like that.
There is a Gaia Green thread on RIU............they all use some form of soil.
Here's the link.https://www.rollitup.org/t/official-gaia-green-grow-method.1026893/unread
There ya go op!

I've heard so many funny myths over the years... from peeing on them to watering with old dish soap water.... watering them with pabst blue ribbon....

One guy though, he had it down to a science, pouring a whole bottle of Southern Comfort killed them dead...... every time.

Would switching from dry amendments to liquid during the veg process hurt the plant?

No it wouldn’t, but you might want to do the first couple feedings at 1/4 strength, then 1/2, then full to prevent possible nute burn. It really depends on how much dry amendments are still in the coco.

I'm sure it can be done but from the looks of his fried up plants he hasn't figured it out yet himself.

He's a hack. Entertainment for some but I don't find him funny and consider him nothing more than a detriment to those trying to find decent growing information.
So your saying he is garbage and no one shoulf listen to anything his videos say? If thats true then who can we follow to help? So conclusion is ME 70-30 mix good for going cannabis? Im using that medium and dyna grow nuits and GH Rapid Starter Root Enhancer. I also used riot starters to start my 2 newest clones. Then transplanted into ME 70-30 mix after roots which was on day 10.

Listen to him or don't. From the few minutes of his videos I bothered watching I was less than impressed. He's just another dude on youtube that thinks he's a great grower. His plants speak for themselves.

I can't believe anyone would watch his videos, see plants like this, and then replicate what he does.

Exhibit A:
