How’s she looking first outdoor grow

Almost week 3 Froyo AutoFlower just transplanted into 3gal I didn’t have 7 like I wanted cuz they wouldn’t come fast enough and she looked stressed in the cup . Might changer her out in a week or 2 .. hoping to get 6 weeks of veg b4 flower she’s stretching beautifully. . I reused old soil from a grow I did 3 weeks ago … I’m just gonna add on top dressings to replenish the soil rather do that then bottled nutes … what you guys think?

She looks a little rough. Yellowing lowers and kinda lime green up top. Likely from being in a cup. Top dressing is fine. Keep an eye on her, she could use more nitrogen. I had good luck topdressing with blood meal myself; my outside plants greened up nice on it. Since she's an auto you'll only have so much time to green her up before she flips.

i forgot to put in that i had some left over nnew ffof soil (which is what i use) i put in at the bottom hoping maybe the roots will stretch down to try to grab the nutes that it comes with.. also i was thinking maybe buying kelp meal blood meal rock phosphate and fish bone meal maybe for top dressing then ill have to find something high in K
 
any suggestions on good things i could use for top dressings as this would be my first time using top dressing also

The FFOF is a good idea but I would've mixed it in with the other soil. All the products you mention are great but they'd be best mixed into the soil. How long has your plant been in her new home? You might be able to very gently take her out and mix up a better soil for her, but topdressing should work. It's just a bit limited as it only gets into the soil when you put fluids on and a smallish plant in a big pot isn't gonna get watered often.
I add dolomite lime, Alfalfa meal (I buy the big feed bags of alfalfa), lots of Gaia Green (Canada) and vermiculite (aerates and stores nutes).

Just ordered alfalfa meal 2.5 0.5 2.5 and fish bone meal 3 18 0 for now
 
That stuff will all help. I buy my alfalfa feed in the 50 pound bags because it's super cheap that way but I use a bag a year. There's supposed to be a mold that 's good for cannabis that grows on alfalfa. It does get impressively moldy if you let it get wet and sit around in a bucket for a few days. I use it a lot outside and my plants are pretty happy this year. I did top dress with blood meal though to green them up. They're flipping now and I'm scared to get them deficient in nitrogen.
 
I know everyone has their own thoughts on this, but I have always heard you want to avoid transplanting auto's, because of the potential recovery time from the transplant. I have always started mine in their ending home, which is usually a five gallon smart pot if outdoors.

Regarding topdressing, Check out Earth Juice PRO GROW and Earth Juice PRO BLOOM. I have used, and am currently using them both. They do absolute wonders. Its literally the easiest thing every, and produces some amazing flowers. Just water it in!

Yeah that's a great point about transplanting autos. Not much time in their lifecycle to recover from transplant stress.

Yea I agree but anyways how y’all feel about these so currently I have some do farm soil in a 5-8 gallon tote idk what size but anyways have about 6gs of soil and I mixed in some alfalfa meal and some fish bone meal then I get this stuff tomorrow and I’m gonna mix this in . Let it sit for a week maybe even tho these are no till fertilizers also I have a bit of mold on the soil so I’m happy ..!! Also check this bit of stuff from my last grow boutta cure in 2 days after paper bag to continue the drying

Looks like your last buds came out fairly decent, great work!

Regarding the amazon list - that is all great stuff. I think deciding what you want to do is most important. Do you want to grow great weed right away, or do you want to figure out how to make your own super soil? or do you want to do both?

I got started with the Earth Juice Grow and Bloom dry products and top dressed, for my first several plants. This took out 100% of the guesswork, and made it so I really couldn't burn my plants. Now, after being really happy with how those came out, I am also running my own super soil in different that was recommended to my by a local grower... its got what you listed there, and a bit more. I don't expect to achieve the instant success with this as I did with the Earth Juice products, just because those are professionally engineered to work great.

I guess my point is trying to dial in your own soil recipe will be a process, which is ok... but expect trial and error style results.

Thanks bro I think I waited the right time to cut her cuz she still has a dank smell after drying unlike my others I might have chop a week or 2 early…. But Ye Im with you on that I want to eliminate the chances of burning my plants. My real idea is to make a water only living soil … I’ve seen plenty on YouTube. Growers just water until the chop don’t really have to re add amendments until start flower after that continuing water and boom done

I forgot since I’m reusing old soil imma need some new Perlite!! Maybe add some peat moss? my last amendments I’m prolly gonna grab is worm castings and perlite….. so far I have bio fish ferts, dr buds and bloomferts, fish bone meal and alfalfa meal and I’m still waiting on insect frass and my kelp meal

Soilless mixes are mostly peat moss so it's pretty hard to overdo it. It is acidic though so products like Sunshine #4 have a good amount of dolomite lime in them to sweeten the PH up to 6ish. Dolomite is cheap and has mag and calcium in it as well. I use a fair amount of it outside; powdered is best. Perlite is nice, I like to add vermiculite as well because it absorbs and releases nutrients as well as aerates. Don't breathe the dust from either one.

Yea that’s good okay so I’ll probably get some moss my insect frass came I mixed 1/3 cup and then said fuck it and threw a 1/2 cup in my kelp is seeming to be stuck in the mail so gonna just wait for that . But yea I’ll get some perlite probably 1 lb or cu ft and some moss and that vermiculite sounds nice too
