First grow I need a little advice.

Hey guys been lurking for a while trying to learn as much as I can but I’m running into a possible issue with my first grow. I am currently starting week two of flower and I noticed today that there is an issue with some of the bottom leaves of my plant, also the tips of my leaves are light green or yellow on new growth. The issue on the bottom is where the fan has been blowing on it so I dont know if the constant blowing air from the fan in the same spot is causing this. I rotated my plant just in case it is the fan and will do so more often. But the leaves are getting kind of crispy besides just not looking right. Should I trim
Off the damaged leaves or leave them alone? My plant is a clone who was replanted in Ocean Forrest soil with added perlite in a 5 gallon fabric pot about 4 weeks ago. For lights I’m running a sf1000 and a Viparspectra p1000. I haven’t added any nutrients to her yet besides some cal/mag and some fish sh*t I got from my local grow shop mixed with water PH between 6-6.5. Also the yellowing on the tips of the leaves started after replanting in the Ocean Forrest. Could it be a light nutrient burn? Please let me know what if anything I should do, any advice is welcome I want to make this as successful a grow as I can. Thank you!!

You don’t need two fans for that tent. Axe one of em. It’s too much.
Your soil is probably running out of nutes. It usually last 3-4 weeks max depending on the size of the plant.
Start adding your nutrients slowly around 1/4 strength.
They don’t look bad overall.
 
Thanks you! I took the bigger fan out just now And I will start my nutes next watering. Also Is this plant a male or a female? Can you tell yet? I think it might be a male after just looking, it must have just started showing something today. Not really sure exactly I’m looking at as this is my first plant.

Ph 6 is low for soil and Fox Farms soil is already buffered with oyster shell for pH adjustment and it also supplies calcium. Adding calmag when it's not needed can lead to excess calcium buildup in the soil which can have a detrimental effect on the availability of other nutrients.
 
I was afraid of that. Ill have to start over with the new seeds I ordered. At least I will know what they are instead of trusting a friend again. Thanks for the help everyone. I’m sure I will be back to ask more questions on my next grow here. It’s a shame it was a male but I learned a lot and am ready to start over again.

You could grow it a couple more weeks and collect the pollen and use it to pollinate a future female. It can be frozen and will stay viable for over a year if done properly.

That way you'd have something from your first grow. But I'm just a sentimental fool.

Thank you. I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I’m glad I took the leap and posted on here. I will definitely listen and learn from all the advice. Looking forward to a successful second grow!

What should I PH my water to if 6 is low? Should I shoot for 6.5-7? What would you reccomend?

Calmag is overused. If you're using tap water and a soil like Fox Farms you don't need it at all. Excess calcium can lockup multiple nutrients making them unavailable to the plant.

You only need to use something like calmag if you have a calcium or magnesium deficiency. But if you have either one of those deficiencies there are better solutions than calmag. If you have a calcium deficiency treat the plant for that. The same with magnesium. But most of what people identify as a deficiency is caused from too much of something making what the plant is deficient in unavailable.

How the hell did calmag become something every new grower just fed their plants? Some are feeding calmag from day 1. It does more harm than good.

Thank you I appreciate it. It sucks because I have worked hard on this plant! But I have learned a lot and am excited to keep learning as much as I can. I have a long way to go but its a start!
