Bud Rot?

I’m not sure exactly what to do here I need some help… I believe bids are beginning to rot.. First time grow outside Kentucky.. Never meant to get this far had no idea what I was doing but hate to let it go now… I have read about bt? Just nervous about spraying then washing have not idea how to properly. Should I harvest early all sights are on the main cola..

Amputate areas that look affected. BT helps with caterpillars (budworms) but it doesn't do anything for moldy buds.

Have you been having a lot of rain / high humidity? Have you found any caterpillars / budworms? Do you see any evidence of caterpillar poo in/on the affected areas?

Yes found three caterpillars in about a week span. Noticed one effected area yesterday and checked today and pulled a completly different one off completely..High humidity suppose to rain next few days hasent yet..

Did you find caterpillars or evidence like poo inside the damaged buds?

No not in buds.. but near stems and on leaves.I know there not ready to harvest but don’t know if it would be better then letting it all rot

And you don't want to consume contaminated buds. Are they autoflower plants? I wouldn't expect photoperiod plants to be that far along in flower yet.

I believe so not 100%.. Random seed.. What do you think my options are? How far do you think from harvest

If there are caterpillars inside the buds, then the mold was mist likely caused by their poo inside the buds, that instead of other kinds of fungus that can take hold. That kind of mold will stay localized to wherever the budworms are attacking the buds.

I'm knocking on my big wood table while saying this...I've never had a bad budworm or mold problem. I've only ever had a few small localized spots that I amputated, and the rest of the plants finished fine.

If I were having the problem, I would amputate anything that looked damaged and take what I could to maturity. Yours still looks like it has a ways to go? How long has it been flowering?

After I remove moldy what should I do sorry for all the questions but it’s going to rain for about three days starting tonight

If the budworms are the problem causing mold spots, then the rain/humidity is not the problem, although it's not doing you any good either. When it rains a lot on my outdoor, I shake the plants by the main stem to get the excess water off the buds. Just don't snap the stem.
