Repotting Autos (follow up)

So both my GCS Critical Purples are flowering now. One is only 3 weeks old! They grow so fast!

I definitely learned that weed grows SUPER fast and 1 gallon pots are not worth the time! Next time I will go solo cup straight to three gallon. Enjoy some pics of my girls. Smaller plant is 3 weeks old, larger plant is 5 weeks old. Pistil shot is from the older girl.

Those plants look very stressed to me and are also showing signs of nute burn. Look at the distorted growth and taco leaves,

One gallons work pretty well. I just start them straight in mix.

It was happening before I transplanted, so I think it's water related.

I think I need to buy a humidifier for my next grow which will include seeds I actually want to do really well with. These are shitty seeds and I'm mostly learning.

I thought I was letting the soil dry enough, but maybe not. I will be more judicious with watering in the future

I Just tried a grow thats almost done and will compare yield weights from last grow but I went from 3 to 5 gln fiber pots and just by the visual look will never look back at a 3 gln. If anyone needs like 12 of them they can come pick up. Also I don’t see why anyone transplants autos. I start in the jiffy biodegradable seed pots and put straight in the five gln. No stress what so ever. Rather have plants going full speed than spend even a day recovering. I don’t get it. At least if growing in soil

How close is your light? Looks possibly light stressed.

I've decided it is a magnesium deficiency. pHs have been pretty spot on though. Is this reversible with some cal mag or is the damage done?

You can foliar feed Epsom salt mixed with water, works pretty fast.

Not sure how you arrived at a magnesium deficiency. Doesn't look like it in the original photos. Do you have new pics?

Less is always more. Piling on more crap is only going to make your problems worse. Your issues are poor watering practices and I suspect poorly aerated soil with no drainage. When plants roots are starved for oxygen from over watering they are unable to uptake nutrients properly. Fix your watering problem and the other problems go away.

There are many downsides. First it doesn't promote the growth of a proper rootball. It also makes proper watering very difficult.
