What about the heat it creates?
When the lights are off the temperature aren't as high so the heat the humidifier creates doesn't bring it up too much I don't think. I haven't checked but that's what I'm thinking. I doubt the dehumidifier puts out as much heat as my 2 600 hps but maybe I'll check the temp tomorrow before lights go on , I usually only look at the humidity, pretty sure I would have noticed if the temp was super high

Iam on day 8 of flower right now currently
That's normally too low for start of flower. You can run it higher but as stated you need a lot of air movement, especially below the cannopy. Lolipopping does wonders. Defoliation and making sure leaves aren't touching too much. Most importantly make sure the air going into the tent is not to wet. If this is in a room the room needs to circulate the air aswell or where is the water gonna go? Mitigate high humidity inside the tent and make sure the air going in is colder and drier than it is now.

My humidity does the same thing 45-55% during lights on and goes up to 70-80% with lights off, so I put a dehumidifier in there when lights are off set it to 45% making sure to cover the light on the dehumidifier
what brand dehu are you running? I have a Frigidaire and it runs way too hot to set inside the tent.

I grow in a closet, and with lights out, and door closed my humidity gets to 82. I’m in the same boat, and don’t know what to do about it especially since I’m on day 55, and I’ve got some pretty big buds, and a ways to go. If you figure something out that will work for me, let me know. My humidity goes dow to around 55 with lights on.
From what I understand, that shouldn't matter much. Absolute humidity is still low during lights out so there is still very little moisture for spores to take hold. I could always be wrong though.

Posted about Absolute humidity before but never heard of anyone talk about it much although it makes a lot more sense to be logically.

I went ahead and hooked up a 4 in inline fan (w/bout 3ft of ducting) to the bottom 4inch outlet .. I ran the ducting thru the outlet, leaving the inline sitting just outside the tent. I then moved the dehumid (think it's an 8 pint) closer to the inline.. turned it on to bout 50% last night. I then set the thermostat for the ac down to 69 F.. shut off all the duct vents in surrounding rooms .. threw on my thermal undies and crawled into bed.

Thank god thru all my effort and suffering, I have gotten my RH to 53% and temps are at 74 F during lights off
Guess I'll be buying more thermals..
