I got a question for a friend. They mixed their 240 watt feit electric blurple with a 16 w ouyide 50/60 hz 5000k white led bulb and they got this crazy looking alien green color. Would that be good for flower? They just wanna add a light to shine upwards from the bottom of the canopy to reach the darker spots. But it turned green in the process and they just don’t wanna mess things up. Think it’s 4 weeks into flower.

Im not sure but cant see why not, can use flourescents to flower, not great but will under any 12hr cycle. Spectrum is important but can flower under 5k so why not? More light the better. And the 16w added to 240 isnt much im my opinion, maybe add a couple or 3 more? The higher the k number the more blue leaning it will be, 3000k to 4000k is considered full spectrum. Cant mess it up unless you change light cycle not spectrum. Just keep your 12hr cycle and will be fine. Id think.
