When using a light mover, although the plants only get 1/2 the light they'd get from two stationary lights, the light mover will produce more bud than just one lamp.
It's because the light receptors close when full, until they drain off energy in the form of .... (it's been a while, I forget some of it).
Bottom line, a light mover (one light) and a garden 8x4 will produce more bud than a 4x4 garden under one light.
