? For southern AG gff users

I add southern AG gff every time I top up my rez. Is this wasteful? Will the existing population of good bacteria left in the rez make up for the addition of new rez water?

Should I only add when completely changing and cleaning rez?

depends how often you change the res.

i use it 1x a week. as a preventative, not a rot cure though.
Complete rez change about once every 3ish weeks. It's 20 gallons and I'll add 1.5 ml of sag gff.

Top up rez 1 or 2 times a week and I'll add about .5 ml of sag gff

I also use it as just a preventative.

i would just do 1mL per week. it's cheap as hell so even if you did 1mL 2x a week, you still aren't spending much.

i get about a year out of my pint bottle. can't beat that for 20 bucks or so

I got root rot. Added sag gff. First time trying
But my ppms are going up??? Prob the ph but I've got an automated ph ppm monitor doser.

The roots are a slight brown. Plants look well and still growing but a little off. Slight discoloring.

That's crazy, Intuitively that's what I did. They're getting better. And a 3rd reservoir change. I changed rez added cut ppm from 350 to 200 only base nutes and sagff 1ml per gallon.

I believe I caused a nute lockout adding silica/calmag/fulvic with amino and enzymes all at once. the nute lockout and weakened by the molasses experiment. But the sagff seems to be working well now
