Companies are assembled and ready
Three systems have been chosen
Bato (Dutch) buckets.
Guppieponics
Quantum hydroponics

Each system has the same area. Plant numbers may vary due to plant spacings

Bato and Quantum will be using Growth technology Ionic series
Guppieponics uses fish pooh.

Seeds are from Badazz seeds.

Trial conclusion.
Top shelf flowers will be tested.
Samples will be available to interested parties FOC With LOI and proof of funds in place to pre purchase future harvests with a guaranteed cents per gram figure.

From that interest. Cultivation conversion will take place, scaling up and selling as we go.

Looking forward to the start I fly out this afternoon arriving Thursday.
Updates will be posted here for the duration of the trial.

Gonna be a lot of debate about your results if u use seeds and not cuts... My 2 cents. Good luck.

Don't really see what the problem is using seed.
Use seed for best yield, space and labour saving plus it passes money back into the industry.
I know US and Canadian industry is brought up on cuts, so why not instigate a change.

Suppose yes when seeds are germinated some do positively show another phenotype from the same seed. Which could be seperated at harvest to give the types
And maybe some differing in height which is sort of dealable with in sections of 10 plants at a time

Other than that quality and quantity can't really be argued, with paperwork to show surely?

Quite happy to talk about them but. Not going to have this thread go into a slating match. BTW as this will be a properly conducted affair.
Any that wishes to try and make it that I will block. (Simples).

On this trial it does not really matter. It's all about quality and yield the man from Bigway tobacco wanted this and it's my preference to use seed.

Have also looked at seed as another way to put money back in the industry.
This is the tobacco company that supplies BAT and imperial tobacco. (Tonnage yes just a little bit)
How much talk is there of tobacco companies
Wanting to get into the cannabis industry cos there market is dying?
So if the seed route is viable look at what could be done.
Baccy companies could feature that year's cup winners
What an exclusive prize added to the cup
Ok they will have to produce a huge amount of seeds but that's not hard and it would make them millionaires in a short space of time.

Can you imagine buying a pack of 20 prerolls of northern lights say.
You may not but there's many that will.

Had notice been available mother's could have been raised but with the timescale it would not have been possible.
If another wanted to use the equipment there welcome to use cuttings and if it was in a country that states cuttings only it's not really a problem
They can use cuttings.

Thats a bit of a hard one with three systems so what we have opted for is each system has the same area.
Plant numbers will vary
50 for Quantum
Probably 15 Bato buckets, maybe a few more
And 25 on the guppieponics. Maybe a few less pending the buckets.
It could be looked on a plant per plant basis.

Only one rule has been put into place.
If one system is ready to flower the others suffer smaller plants

It's about quality and yield. So if one company is ready to flower you all have to flower?

The other two companies can use clones if they want? And you picked seeds? Lol. Sounds like you set yourself up for failure. By these rules they could have cuts of fast flowering and high yielding plants while you are at the mercy of some random seeds. :lol:
