then this turns into a theory of mine then. My theory is that if i trim the leaf instead of fully defoliating it, the plant will still have energy from the leaf, less stress than complete defoliation of the leaf, and more light can get through. There’s not info on tip cutting because it’s not a real thing. If you are defoliating u cut the whole fan off. And as always and again. Less is more, cut as few as possible.
Yes, who can say without seeing?this question applies to all grows and not just my current grow.
Ok I’m done here. Sorry bro but you seem to think you have some kinda secret thing in your pocket. Again…. Cutting tips isn’t a thing. No one does that unless they don’t know what they’re doing as far as defoliation goes.the idea of keeping the whole leaf, but defoliating part of the leaf so light gets through without completely defoliating the leaf.
Think of my question of an advanced version of an existing training technique. theory: if i trim the leaf instead of fully defoliating it, the plant will still have energy from the leaf, less stress than complete defoliation of the leaf, and more light can get through.I can't understand fot

I've seen a lot of people wanting to remove leafs just because they want to remove them, it's not exactly conductive to good growth.
lol ok cya bruhOk I’m done here. Sorry bro but you seem to think you have some kinda secret thing in your pocket. Again…. Cutting tips isn’t a thing. No one does that unless they don’t know what they’re doing as far as defoliation goes.
like what? You know… I did the same shit when I first got here…on RIU. so I get it, but bro, just listen n try not to let your ideas stop u from learning.
Try it, doubtful you'll kill your plantslike what?
I'm at the point where i want to experiment, since i've already done all the training methods from previous and current grows.Like I thought I knew shit n was so wrong. Luckily my momma ain’t raise no fool and I shut up n started listening. There are people here that are not back yard growers. These guys are growing in warehouses. They know their shit! And if you want to experiment that’s fine. But don’t dismiss what your told as it will be the truth.
i've already done that.Good deal, you’ve been experimenting and finding which grow style works for you. That’s great! Now go look up howto defoliate and watch a few videos. You’ll more than likely learn more like that then asking in here and going through the gauntlet. Lol
So what you’re saying is that since you had your second grow in November of 2020, you’ve maximised your available space and tweaked everything to bump up your harvesting numbers?I'm at the point where i want to experiment, since i've already done all the training methods from previous and current grows.
i've gotten to the point where i am doing a perpetual grow. one zone for flower and another for veg. the training technique im using is mainlining. If i have space in my tent, i add clones in 1 gallon pots. cool plants btw.So what you’re saying is that since you had your second grow in November of 2020, you’ve maximised your available space and tweaked everything to bump up your harvesting numbers?
you've played around with environmental variables and feel you’ve maximised the most from the environment you’re working with?
Fuck dude I’ve been doing this for 12 years and still haven’t maximised everything I could in my space.
if you’re running a scrog you should cut anything that is below the scrog net.
as long as you’ve got good air circulation with oscillating fans you shouldn't need to worry about cutting tips or fan leaves.
But I’m happy with my yields which is ultimately all that matters.
leaves are photosynthesising parts of the plant.

I have literally went off on people here for being assholes and talking crazy to people. ( for this reason) I’m going to try to say this nicely. We are not all meant to grow. If you don’t know how to research something well enough to learn the basics on your own (such as defoliation) maybe you should consider buying your smoke n leave the growing to the adults. I mean…. Look shit up guys. There are so many outlets out there for research it’s ridiculous. Stop being lazy and do your own research.
So you’ve maximised your current growing methods and can’t get any higher consistent numbers after changing environmental variables such as Co2, Temp diff changes, nutrient requirement changes?i've gotten to the point where i am doing a perpetual grow. one zone for flower and another for veg. the training technique im using is mainlining. If i have space in my tent, i add clones in 1 gallon pots. cool plants btw.
