First grow close to harvest and now an issue....

Hi!

This is my first post and my first grow.

Everything has been going really well but now that three of the four plants are almost done flowering 1 plant (lets call it SK1) has issues. See the photo:

Here's the story: I have four plants, started indoors on 4/20 (just worked out that way) along with my other garden veggies.

2 plants were Zkittles from ILGM, 1 was Wedding Cake also from ILGM and the last was Banana Kush from Pacific Seed Bank. All were feminized autos.

They were moved outdoors from around 5/15 until 7/2 when three of the plants (SK and WC) were pretty far into flower. On 7/2 we had a forecast for 3 days of heavy rains so I moved my three flowering plants back inside to finish off.

Starting and outside grow was just fine; plants were happy. Plants were grown in regular old organic Fox Farm soil with some perlite and vermiculite added in 5 gallon pots. Mycorrhizae was used when transplanting to the pots.

Plants were watered as needed; just when the soil was nice and dry an inch or two down.

Nutes included Fox Farm 6-4-4 Grow Big, kelp solution and silica during veg then switched to Bud and Bloom, Kelp and Silica during flower.

When I moved the three plants back inside, I just placed them under my 2 lights (2x 1000W Roleadro LED Grow Lights) with a fan going. The lights were kind of low, like 8" above the tallest buds. I switched over to plain water.

Soil PH is 6.8 and has been the whole grow.

The plants with issues (SK1) was in the middle of the two lights so it probably got a bit more light.

The other two plants both look fine; 1 is taller (SK2) and 1 is shorter (WC).

So, it seems the leaves on SK1 are turning brown in spots and drying out. I tested for rust fungus by scratching the brown spots and nothing came off; the leaf is just brittle and dry and kind of crumbled.

Looking at the buds of SK1 they seem fine / the same as SK2. Looking under a microscope both plants trichome's pretty much look the same. Both seem very close to harvest (I think! Id love other opinions!)

Anyway, sorry for the long post! I would love any thoughts on what's going on with SK1 and whether it's harvest time!

I forgot the ?mark. Not positive, more of a thought but some leaves look like i see pest damage, all those white marks and such.

Check the underside of leaves..
Bingo. Thanks!

I don't see many, but some of the leaves have these little white fuckers.

I moved this plant back outside to its own area and removed any affected leaves. Anything else I can do? If you peak at the original post and photos, you can see the triichomes for this plant. Maybe I can just harvest it and dry it somewhere separate?

By the look of things you have more than one species of pest..
I hate sayin this, but an early harvest is what I would do..
Really nice buds too.. Get some spinosad and spray your other plants..

That appears to be a soil mite(good) the little dots are thrips, youll need a loupe to see them.
Basis rule of thumb is never bring an outside plant to your indoor grow. They look good, could use some food.

Thanks Dan! I really appreciate everyone's timely help.

I removed all affected leaves from this plant plus some from some of the other 2 plants. They all had some aphids (which is what I think they are; I found 1 adult and certainly I get them on tomatoes). I removed everything I could very carefully.

I do have spinosad; but maybe best to apply it with a brush to all the non-bud surfaces?

Or, I can certainly just harvest all of it now! It seems pretty close to me. The trichomes are all milky, but there are not very many amber colored ones.

It still has several weeks, but it's are far enough along to not be a total loss. I've never had an infestation aside from gnats, so I don't know if whacking it is the best option or not.

Oh and its your led lights causing what looks like a ca deficiency.
They were only inside for a few days; and been outside plants prior. I moved them back inside, to an empty room, when we had a crazy few days of rain.

Could a ca deficiency happen that quickly?

I do have calmag...

Just an update / resolution to this thread. I managed to get these plants to a pretty nice harvest! I basically removed the worst affected leaves and wiped the back of the remaining leaves with spinosad solution on a foam brush, being careful to avoid the buds. Then I monitored and repeated. Started having issues again closer to harvest with some 2-spotted mites and then did a spray all over with a solution of 1:3 alcohol to water. Repeated. Everything cleared up and I got them all the way to a nice harvest! Chopped and did a wet trim then washed the buds to make sure to remove any traces of whatever.

Here they are!
