Should I use both Southern AG & Myco+ at the same time? Measurements?

I'm running a 125 gal dwc and not sure what exactly I should be using, amount and being price-wise, maybe brand?

Is there a feed chart per 5 gallons anywhere? I'm tossing in 3 cap fulls now (thanks!) and it is a lot better then before, but I wonder if I should go more?

you can't over do it i think. i use 1ml per 2gals. some use 1ml per 10 gals

I assume they are referring to SAG Garden Friendly Fungicide. Basically a more concentrated hydroguard.

yea sorry I KNOW they make a lot of products, I buy from them whenever I can, I just bought more poison for my super spider mites. With the MYCO+ in the title, I left the rest out.

and it's an EXTREMELY more concentrated hydroguard -google it, I though it was something silly, like one bottle for $15 equals 25 gallons of hydrogaurd.

I know they are out to make money but that markup is damn thievery- Kind of like U C roots and pool shock (well no that's worse...)

I'm curious- What ratio & When and Why do you use the AG Calcium nitrate? No Fulvic acid? I've been using Mr Greengeans 3 part mix jacks-epsom-acid, But I've been playing with Kootmeds mix, trying to see if there is really a difference, or just more money and busywork.

Cal-Nitrate is pretty generic, so it doesn't generally matter what brand you use. I assume the Southern Ag version is much cheaper than the Jack's branded version. Same with epsom salts.

3-2-1 ratio. 3 grams jacks, 2 grams calcium nitrate, 1 gram epsom salts per gallon of res. i use the souther ag calcium nitrate every time i water. i like the southern ag because the particles are small and dissolve quickly, so i don't have to wait as long while i'm mixing my solution. fulvic acid does helps plants absorb nutrients, but it is an organic substance, and i'm running drain to waste hydroponics (hempy buckets with a 75/25 coco/perlite medium). i run my res' sterile, and don't want to introduce any organic material if i can help it.

that's true, too. about 35-50% cheaper than most brands. epsom salts are cheap, i just buy the milk carton looking box at the drug store or hardware store.

Oh ok you are running "sterile" Do you use any antithesis to SAG Garden Friendly Fungicide -hydroguard ,pool shock, bleach? I was thinking of trying it next time, sterile kind of grow. Bored I guess, maybe the f'ing spider mites won't like it as much

i use pool shock. 1 gram in a gallon of water, then i use 1 oz per gallon of res size, mondays and thursdays

oh yeah do you use tap water or rain/RO water. I've been using RO with the plants and the AG and all, but with the bleach and pool shock, what's the dif if you have a trace amount of chlorine? Maybe I forgot something, but are u not just taking it out and putting it back in with RO?

i don't use ro water, and i'm not sure if ro will remove chlorine or not....but you don't need to remove it, ever...plants aren't fish, a little chlorine doesn't hurt them at all, the only reason to avoid chlorine is if you're trying to run benes, chlorine + beneficial microbes = no bueno...
