Is this a lost cause?

I guess my light was to close, and caused my GDP plant to foxtail. I have moved the light as high as I can, about 25” (315 CMH). I also over fed with maxiBloom. This pic is from today on day 27 of 12/12. Do you think these buds will ever recover and amount to anything?
They'll be just fine, just keep on going.

Every single time I flower I'll do something that I'd like to change the next time. So don't worry about it. Nice looking plants.

Thanks, I poured a couple of gallons of ph’d water on it, and I’m not going to feed for a while, but those foxtails concern me. Not sure if they’ll fill in, or not. This strain is supposed to have dense buds, so not sure what will happen now.

You don't have foxtailing. Your buds are fine for 3-4 weeks of flower. One overfeeding is not a big deal.

Are you sure they are or was not reveg? With foxtailing caused by the light you would definitely observe damaged fan leaves too…

The more I look at it, I think you may be right. I went in to the closet and shut the door. The closet door is definitely not light tight. I devised a way to cover the cracks. How long do you think it will take to recover?

Usually about two weeks give or take.

Good catch

They do look revegy/confused.

That sucks because it really screws the plants up and they don't always come out of it and just start flowering like normal.

do you have a light leak? they look ok but they may be trying to reveg i see single bladed leaves or is that an optical illusion?

No optical illusion. Damn, I’ve flowered in that closet before, but there was definitely some light coming through. And come to think of it my last plant foxtailed too, but it was mostly sativa. This one is pure indica. I’ve got a way to block the light, but I’m hoping the damage isn’t already done.

They don’t have a full reveg whorl but they look stringy like they aren’t organizing their bud structure which could be not enough auxins. Confused is a good word for it.

I’ve never seen plants in this odd limbo. I hope for his sake they come out of it.

Good clarification, thanks.

I guess I’ll ride it out a while. Bummer. This plant started out looking great until just this last week. Maybe between raising the light, flushing, stop feeding it, and giving an extra 1/2 hour of dark it will improve in a couple of weeks.
