How can I help the bottom get light?

Has nothing to do with being "big and crowded" - Removing the lower 1/3 of the plant before mid flower will force the energy into bud development on the top 2/3 of the plant, thus not having to worry about increasing light intensity.

No it won't. Removing the lower 1/3rd will not do what you seem to think it will.

Interesting ... I do this for every single grow - works well for me.

Your plants are probably larger and healthier. A plant that small with very few leaves for photosynthesis is not going to benefit from reducing parts of the plant for that process to be carried out.

Next run leave one plant without trimming off the bottom 3rd. I'll bet the top of the plant has just as much bud as the plants you trim the bottom 3rd off of. I don't do any defoliation but from what I've gathered from those that do is that it's more for airflow than anything else.

and they pick on me because a little dirt on my floor at least i am trying to grow plants no offense maybe you are a micro grower but thats a waste of time for a twenty sack what happened to the rest of the plant?

-It is kind of a small plant .. tell the op to buy a higher quality light, then the next grow we can come back to this point.

-I'll take you up on that bet. I have a grow coming up in the next few weeks, I'll post pics side by side comp.

Did I mention That this is a auto flower so I think defoliating it would stress it and it wouldn’t have the necessary time to bounce back I could be wrong though

I also have 3 plants under this light . This one that I’ve shown is small but has the most bud production so far it went into flower a few days before all the others I’ll attach pics of others .

Healthy plants can be defoliated regardless of being photoperiod/autoflower. It's plant dependent.

This defoliation mess is from ONE autoflower.

I'm not disputing the fact that the light is not good.

Yes please do a side by side. I think that you'll find that the plant without the bottom 3rd defoliated will produce just as much bud on the top two 3rds of the plant as those that were defoliated.
