My new CFL closet grow!!! Jack Herer + bagseeds

hey... everything seems to be going alright. There a few small brown spots but i think it's nothing to be worried about.

#1 and #2 last time they were watered, they were introduced to nutes. I gave them 1/4 strength of Bio-Grow. Later today will be their second time, maybe i'll mix a little more. Both of them are being trained. I also fimmed #2.

#3 is still on just water schedule. I'll probably give it some nutes during the next week.

Jack Herer is still a seedling and it seems healthy. It has a lot of catching up to do...:)

i was thinking of going scrog with this batch, but i haven't done it before. Scrog growers I need some help!!

For the moment i've only tied them down as you can see in the pics. Should i continue training the plants to prepare them for the scrog, or just wait till they're a little bigger, put the screen on top of them, and start bending them then?
Any more advice very welcome and appreciated.

I think that is a very good idea!! Especially with a 250w hps on top, i believe you're looking in some very good results if you go scrog.

UPDATE

Well, plant #2 is still acting weird, and i think it's going worse. I also noticed that since i topped it stopped growing too, so i'm thinking this should be the end for it. I'll probably throw it away tomorrow.

plants #1 and #3 are growing really nice. And little Jack Herer too, it'll start growing really quickly from now on..:) #1 is trained and i'm trying to make room for the branches because the fan leaves are blocking a lot of light.

The first three photos are from plant #2, the one i'm thinking of throwing away, please tell me what you think.

nah man dont just throw it away haha. it stopped growing cuz you topped it, takes some time for the plant to recover after that. you know youre stressin em out with all the topping and LST... the more you stress them the longer it will take for them to recover. just leave them be man im sure theyll come out fine...

i'm not thinking of throwing it away because of the topping. It's been growing weird since the beginning. You can see a lot of leaves are way to curly, they're easy to break etc...

Anyway as long as i got enough room, i guess i could keep it and see how it goes..

yeah i mean, no point in throwin it out just cuz it looks funny haha. long as you got the space let it go and see what happens... one of my purple wreck plant was growing like that, the middle leaf of every node on one side was all curled up and brown. it was the weirdest thing haha it turned out to be male so i tossed it anyway but still it turned out pretty healthy lookin after all..

I took some new pics today so it's time for an update! :weed:

I have one problem though, to which i'd like to hear your opinions.
As you can see from the pics, plants #1 and #2 are the older ones, #3 is in between and little jack herer is the youngest one. So, the problem is that, since i'm growing with cfls, I can't let them grow to big before switching to 12/12. On the other hand I want little jack herer to grow some more before flowering. I've already started training the other three. Will this be enough? Any other ideas???

they look good, i didnt really understand your question though lol. you mean you want to start flowering the other 3 but the jack herer isnt big enough??

since i can't flower in another room, what i'm asking is should i continue to train the others until jack herer is big enough? Or that would be too much for the cfls to handle?

thank you man!

i'm always careful when bending and tying them. Everything's going really good so far. In my previous grow, i did injure the stem one time while trying to bend it. Ever since i'm extra careful about this. It did recover and produced some fine buds, but i didn't like it at all when i felt the stem breaking.....
It will never happen again......:weed::weed:

I been following your grows. Your doing great, and I am guessing your had some experience with this before. Keep up the good work.

I dont think there would be really any harm in letting ur smaller ones catch up, after all, a little longer vegging usually yields higher amounts. I dont see to big of a age difference between the two.

I was thinking about putting up some pics myself, but have not had the courage too. Its only decriminalized up to a ounce here. So I am iffy about posting pics, never know who is lurking.

thanx man!!!! I don't have that much experience, i only have on successful grow so far, but i learned a lot from it. I enjoyed the whole process, and read a lot, it was very interesting to me.

I'm still vegging right now, and i'll keep on in veg, for at least one more week!! Little jack herer needs to be bigger first.....LOL

Here's not even an ounce. But posting pics is not illegal.... i might have copied them from anywhere and then pasted them over here... they're not even mine....lol But, when it comes down to this, you have to decide this for yourself. I just feel that is safer discussing it and posting pics over here, than it is discussing it with friends and people i know....
