Hi people, I noticed all of the top leaves of my plants are starting to curl upwards I read it could be a few things including heat stress, I have my light on 600w and keep it no closer than 10 inches from the top of plants what do you think it is?
Il upload a pic with this.
Any reply's will be appreciated, thanks

They could be praying? Which is a good thing means they're healthy.. I see thriving plants praying to you !( and to this world we live in ) lol
You know what it wouldn't surprise me since since I started growing I have learned that plants are just as alive as us

In my experience, the light should be at least 24" away from the top of the plant canopy, otherwise you will have heat stress, the curling and cupping of leaves too close to the light.

10" is going to be too close. Those leaves arent praying theyre tacoing from heat stress. You likely need to pull your light up a foot or so if possible. May need to play with the height to dial it in.

What's your RH? If it's like super dry they are tacoing to try cup any water they can.
If you're RH is fine then they're probably reaching for more lovin. Hard to tell your plant health with that colour

Thanks for the reply, OK but I am just over 3 weeks into flower and only have about 10 inches more height room left (as my tent is 7 foot tall) could the plant grow much bigger do you think?

Thanks for the reply, my RH has been around 20%-25% through the whole grow I cant seem to get it higher, I bought a humidifier but it won't fit from the mains socket tk inside the tent and I don't want to plug it into an extension cord as the voltage is too high for it so I don't know what else to do?

The voltage for a humidifier is too much for an extension cord? Is it an industrial humidifier?

Yeah unfortunately you're gonna have a big problem with height if you have the room when one starts stretching you need to tie it down before the branch gets so thick manipulating becomes very difficult I had a 1.8 metre high tent and I've had to buy a taller one good luck hope everything works out but 600w at that distance is too much if you have a dimmer and can't higher the light turn it down if it's a true 600w (which means it draws 600w from the wall) you can turn it down to a most 75% at that distance

Yea I will start misting them with water every morning and night that's all I can think of for now, I have tried hanging wet towels up in there but they dry out in a few hours and don't really make much difference

Spray the walls with water not your plants even the floor if it's waterproof and light can shine down on it the water will evaporate in the air better than spraying plants directly

No its just a small one from argos, but on the manual it said only use in mains because of the voltage
Do you have a sensor for humidity cos if you're talking about argos the you're UK and I mainly have too much humidity if so don't add more you didn't put any details on your temps or humidity levels would help people give you better advice if you post more about your setup and conditions atm

A jar or bucket of water with an old shirt or dish towel half way in the water and hanging over the edge of the bucket will help a lot.
