I have been trialing a new Mixedjoy 4000 LED light using seedlings of Blue Cookies.
I am impressed with the quantity and quality of the light this LED light bank generates. The downside is that it generates a fair amount of heat for an LED but manageable with fans and cooler air intake.
The plants have been lst trained since inches tall. Rather than topping or fim'ing I supercropped each side branch and main tip then tied the branches and main top down making for considerable branching. Some advocate thinning out the leaves but for this grow I have been gently bending the large fan leaves down to give lower growth more light exposure.
In one photo, in the very center and on the main stalk, you can see the healed effect of supercropping.
So far so good. I will flip to 14/10 hours in a week then slowly wind down to 12/12 hours light.
