You can have you light schedule whatever you want as long as you don't have light leaks. Some guys do lights off in the day to help with heat issues.
I might not change my timer by hrs, but I would change it an hr at a time to where the lights were on when I was needing to be in there.
Thanks for the input

@Chrisjames47 it may be beneficial for you to look over some of my own grows that I’ve logged on RIU for you to be able to follow how a successful grow using coco is achieved etc.

here’s a few of my threads from the years of growing and designing rooms etc.

Coco perlite 70/30
Coco doesn't like being left for days without feeding, I'm feeding 3x daily with coco with ec rises of 0.3/0.4 each run off.

I'm using 1ml a+b per liter = 1.1/1.2ec 3x daily, if your using 2x + the additives + only feeding every 2/3 days its no surprise you have issues.

You need to start again and stick to a few key rules regarding coco and keep it simple!

Edit...Coco is a great medium but you have to learn how to get the best from it, if you don't have time to apply yourself then soil is probably a better option?

Not according to their marketing literature.

"As you might expect, this produces much larger effects like denser crops and bigger yields by up to 40% with exceptional aromatic and essential oil content."

"Expect 40% higher yields from this uniquely potent bloom booster!"

I don't know about starting again I even got a few ounces off my last one even though it wasn't the best, I understand this grow is a bit scruffy and stretched but all of the leaves are perked up and look a healthy colour so wouldn't I be ok just starting to feed everyday from now with less feed it would be worth finishing?

Yes I'd expect you to see a difference if you started feeding daily to run off and reduce the strength.

Just so you know. I bought my first mj seeds last year. New myself.
Decided dwc was the way to go...
Didn't know much at all about plants, nothing about nutrients or ph and microwhatevers....

I of course bought General hydro 1,000 part system nutes and mixed organic with sterile rez stuff. All good fun, lots of root rot.

Some things take some time and real life experience to learn. You don't know what you don't know, you know?

If you haven't bought someone's full range of nutrients you haven't lived... :bigjoint: it's part of the learning curve...

The uninitiated have no reason to doubt the advertising bull after all its cutting edge stuff :-)
I've been there I'm sure most will have.?

Haha, I am coming to except that I have wasted a bit of money, but as for the pk 9/18 would you use it ? because some people I talk to swear by it.

Thanks for your advice, so you only grow in hydro then?

I can't be certain in saying it'll make no difference but I don't think it will or can, if there wasn't enough p and k in a+b then me and many others would see deficiencies and we don't.
I've 3/4 a bottle of pk 13/14 it could well be out of date?

I'm going to cut the pk down to 1/5 strength and see how it goes
