Perlite is a crutch lol. Great song though.
I'm genuinely curious about how you see perlite as a crutch. I have a couple hypotheses about this but either you missed my question in the other thread or didn't want to take the OPs thread further off topic. I can understand that. Although I've grown for a bit now I don't know everything and I'm always open to learning more, thanks.

I was just messing around. I may have had a couple drinks at that point. To each their own.

Come on now. I employ perlite as crutch in my soil mix. Yet only meeting the definition by means of lightening the mix and reducing nute loading. So supporting some weight. A crutch. At a loss of organic beneficial matter decreasing actual pot volume.

I shared my definition for all to berate or consider. Your turn. LOL.

Happy Fathers Day and another happy day to the ladies.

Thank you for satisfying my curiosity. I enjoy learning new stuff. What were you drinking? Right now some ice cold Sauvignon Blanc is calling my name. It's so damn hot here. Alas it must wait while I finish working on my pool's PVC. Anyway hope you're having a good father's day.
