Stabilized strain, different phenotypes

Hello everyone!

I'm a CBD medicinal patient and I bought some seeds of Saga strain (Superstrains; 20:1 CBD/THC ratio).
However, the plants are showing a totally different phenotypes (pics attached).
My intention is to revert one of the plants with STS and pollinate the other one to make high CBD seeds.

Then two questions came up:
I - Is this difference in phenotype common even in stabilized strains?
II- Does this cross between reverted X not reverted guarantee that I will have at least a similar cannabinoid profile in the resulted seeds?

I purchased the seeds at the "La Cucaracha" store in La Pedrera, Rocha, Uruguay.
I tried to contact Superstrains twice but got no answers.

Best regards,

Where did you hear that this line is stable?
Saga is a highly medicinal strain. Its high CBD level makes it great for people suffering from many different health problems. Due to the extremely low THC level there is no psychoactive effect, what makes it perfect for everyday use. Smooth Sativa flavour makes this medicine taste like pleasure. If you suffer from depression, ADHD, eating disorder or any other health related problems give it a try.

Genetic background: Sativa, Mexican Haze, Indica, Afghan
Sex : Feminized
Type : Indica / Sativa
generally speaking we dont consider a strain stabilized until F6 or backcrossed 5 times. I would be surprised to learn the breeders of that strain actually ran 6 generations or Bx5. they could have backcrossed 2 times and called it stable, because 2 backcrosses of an F1 gives you 87.5% homogeneity

Thanks for the reply, mudballs!
I don't have much experience with seed bank strains.
I thought that they had taken care to stabilize the genetics (with 6 generations, Bx5) to name it as a "strain".
Here is the website speaking about the Saga "strain": https://www.superstrainsseeds.com/product/saga/

But do you think that the resulting seeds would have a similar cannabinoid profile? (by reversing one of the plants and pollinate the other one).
I'm afraid it will result in seeds with a higher THC level (which could make my treatment worse). It's quite hard to find high CBD seeds where I live...

You can name the seeds you are going to make as a new strain if you want.wham bam "hey this strain is called Chill Bro Dance...its a cross of..." its literally all there is to it. Yes if you reversed and pollinate the offspring will have a similar profile...they wont magically turn into high thc and no cbd genetics.
Selfing is nearly a guarantee that youll get the plant you want.

You will always get phenotypes, even if you self a plant, her seeds will still kick out different phenotypes. Really the only way to get a "uniform phenotype", is through inbreeding a plant for many generations!

Thanks for answering, guys!
I've read that "stabilized" might just mean for one trait, like CBD production. Then, It makes a lot of sense there are many phenotypes whithin a strain.

cheers!
