I am growing in my garage lights on at night 830 pm to 830 am its getting to hot in my garage almost 90 in my tent with lights off. I want to move tent indoors, so I would have to switch lighting to ON at 730am and off at 730 pm will it hurt to give my plant 24 hours of dark? I am 2 weeks into flower since pistils. 4 week into flower from flip.

Thanks people just wanted to make sure yah it gets 88 with lights hot and my lights dint come on u til 830 at night and still lights get on temp goes to about 92 for a couple hours until midnight when it cools off alot outside. So inside my house stay around 73 and my lights on should keep me under 85 it would be perfect.

I would like to just add to double check everything, temps, etc, maybe even a dry run with light, and make sure it will work out the way you are wanting it too! The last thing you want is to be moving plants around 2x while flowering cause the stress will cause some damage without a doubt! Measure twice, cut once!

I think it’s harder to control the climate in a room inside of a room. Say a tent in a room than it is to just build a room. I have tents and it’s a PIA to keep the climate in Check at times. Wish I would have just used a spare room and then I could have installed window mount AC instead of a portable unit that adds so much heat the cooling runs double time to keep it cooled off. If you have the space I would ditch the tent and make a separate room then you can make a smaller section for cuttings or seedlings or split the room and have veg and bloom. I may be over thinking it a little since I’m a newbie

Unfortunately I don't have a spare room or I would be on that. But my Temps in house stay 73 so when lights come on shouldn't go past 80-85 I run LED lights. And humidity won't be a problem problem around 45 percent in our home. I brought my tent in lights off Temps sitting at 72 and humidity 55 I have a 67 remote with the AC Infinity fans to adjust to Temps and humidity I have set. So me inside my ohomw other than my garage I couldn't ac I should be fine.

Yeah that’s pretty much same way I run mine. I just don’t do indoor during summer because it’s too hard to combat the heat in my tent. Sounds like you should be fine with that setup.

High temp survivability is also strain dependant. If high temps are unavoidable (can't move the tent inside, stealth, you live in a desert...) try to find more Afghan styled strains. Heard of a greenhouse hitting 130 and the girls were loving it (Dude Grows Show, circa 2015). Haven't seen it myself, and I think the guy had misters ( :joint: I don't remember exactly). What I have seen is my DWC girls survive 99° weeks last year with constant high air exchange and an open water only cell. It could have been luck I'm still a fairly new grower. Hoping to avoid all that this summer. Kid is moving out:sad: and my girls :leaf: are moving in!

Awesome ya man my house Temps saty at 73 with our air running and hunidirt is 45 percent I have had my tent inside for roughly 2 hours and temp in tent I 70 with 51 percent humidity. So lights on I'm looking at maybe 80 degrees with 40 to 45 percent hunidity. So I shluld be good to go now. Does my tent stay cooler than my house because I have 3 fans running. Its a 7 foot tall tent I got 2 4" fans one at the top ine in the middle by lights and a stand up fan that oscillates on my plants.

Be sure you have smell control in place. I love the smell of cannabis but when you know you should smell it and can't, everyone else can.

Yes man I have a carbon filter with my infinity cloudline fans, but one qeustion. My Temps in my house our AC stays on 73. My lights came on today at 8am and my Temps got to 89. I run LED lights, why's is it getting hot still? Lights off 71-73 and lights on says almost 90.....

I got it figured out just when my lights come on I have to open another flap at the bottom of my tent for more air to get in keep it cool.

the way I run my quantum boards is my intake air blows right on my light fixture to help keep it cool. But I’m only using outside air so I run my lights at dark when it cools down and that’s normally enough to keep it down to acceptable levels. I didn’t like the way the cloud line fans work with the settings so I use a ink bird climate controller so it kicks my fan on to cool it and it also kicks on my heating when it’s too cold. I do have cobs also and they run hotter than the quantum boards. Do you use quantum boards or cobs? If you use QB you could try mounting your driver outside the tent if that’s an option

I got two 300 watt Mars Hydro Blurples they are 132 watts each I could sleep on them they aren't hot at all! And I just add a TS100 Mars Hydro axtual 150 watts. It's get a little hotter than my others.

Need an exhaust fan to pull the hot air out and cooler air in. Leds put out heat, just not as much as hps. I have my exhaust running 24/7, and I adjust temperatures accordingly with my home thermostat.

With the cobs, I run a fan on each heatsink, while my exhaust fan pulls the heat out.
