When should i initiate flowering

Hello this is my first plant and im just wondering when if i should flip to flower or wait another 4 weeks thanks in advance for any opinions

Another 4 weeks? You can't wait only 1 week? Lol. Kidding. It's really up to you man. What your space and lighting is. Expected yield. If your asking can you flip now. Yeah. You can.

With a 280w light, I’m afraid space has to be taken into consideration due to light coverage. You may have all the space in the world, but it doesn’t mean your light can cover it. This also depends on the type of light you have. For example: Sunraise has a 200±3 QB that covers a 3x3 rather well, I can attest to it because I have one. My phlizon 240w has more power, but it’s intended for a slinder space, definitely not a 3x3. This is why I say space has to be a factor based on the type of light you have. So technically you can flip whenever you want, you just have to make sure your light can accommodate the growth.

Flower whenever you want. But for me, the number of weeks you veg will always equal your final result. For example... a plant simply topped at the fifth node (nothing more done to her but evening her tops out), vegged for 4 weeks will produce 2 zips, veg it another week (5 weeks), it will produce a little over 3 zips, veg it 2 more weeks (6 weeks), it will produce a little over 4 zips. And a plant vegged for 8 weeks will produce 6 or 7 zips! And that is all done using a single 288 (3K) board (11 inches from the canopy), with reds running at just 80 watts at the wall!

This is very true they will double if not triple they will keep growing into the light if you dont compensate.

And then what when your 5 foot plant is hitting the light at week 3 of flower and your not even half way threw flower yet...

But when they hit the stretch phase some will really stretch so consider that when flipping the lights
